A lot of my family members smoke, so does my mom from time to time. It's weird but fun when your own mom asks for a toke or some weed to smoke :D (she was heavily into it in the 70's but now only smokes small amounts)

Recently I gave her some Kratom, she hasn't tried it tho, but I know she will. Also she's cool with me tripping on LSA and Mescaline etc. which is great. =D
 
Yep. I have smoked with my cousin a couple of times. I've also smoked with my little brother. He had done it before with his friends but my shit put him to bed a little bit early so i'm not doing that again ..

I always asked my son to come to me when and if he ever wanted to try pot....sure enough he did.....we went and sat in the local skatepark..and puff puff....we have smoked together probably a dozen times.I believe it brought us way closer than most of his friends are with thier dads.

what approaches do you like/dislike? how does time/place factor into your reaction? have you been ripped-off buying in a situation like this? what is your strategy to prevent getting fucked in one way or another if you do buy like this?

Im too paranoid to usually deal with these people ~ as a rule I have to have met the person or know them through somebody ~ but I dont live in a city so I rarely have to actually deal with this situation.

I have never had a good experience buying from street dealers - meaning, dealers who just wander the streets openly looking for customers. Tried to buy pills quite a few times outside clubs, always got ripped off. Tried to buy weed once after a rave at like 5 AM or something from some massive black guy, got sold a bag of some stringy green shit, fuck knows what it was. My friend had the same experience another time in the same location.

It might be different with other drugs, but think about it, if these people are likely only gonna see you once and you're doing something illegal anyway, they don't have much incentive to providing customer satisfaction.

If you're gonna try anyway I'd say make sure you're with enough people that you can't be intimidated into anything, make sure whoever you're buying from probably isn't physically intimidating anyway, and make sure you're buying when the streets aren't pretty much deserted. Also don't ever buy drugs that you can't test on site, like pills. Really though there's not much point buying from anyone who you haven't been referred to through other means, IMO. Oh another thing, if the dealer is stupidly sketch about letting you look at what they're selling you that's an obvious warning sign.
 
You ignore them, or say "No thanks," if they keep pushing. At least that's what I do when ever someone approaches me out of no where offering illegal substances.
 
I usually avoid situations like this, but to be honest, I have bought some of the best weed of my life from random people asking if I was looking for any.
 
I've smoked with all of my siblings even though two of them don't smoke anymore. My mom smokes but it would honestly be way too weird to smoke with her.
