Hmm... that's always a big question within theology - Did God create "sin" to maintain a balance in the world? Is Evil necessary to keep Good as pure and potent as it is?
I like to think that God created all things good, and all was once perfect. Somehow, evil seeped into the world. Deceit, malice, anger, murder. Law and judgement are a result of this.
I love to think that God created the herb for enjoyment. Don't you think its funny how plants have so many organic compounds that effect the human brain? We have such an intimate and mystical connection to plant life. I love it.
thats why us humans have used religion and the bible to our own advantage, alot of mind altering substances come from nature , yet we are forbidden and frowned upon if used. but its there right? it comes from mother earth. its nature. its natural !
once again contradiction! the laws of nature against the "word of man" because the bible was NOT written by god him self but by men.
every one should stop reading that forsaken book and start worrying about mother earth because she is real and what has been happening lately is a sign of her powers .
once again thats the hypocrisy of religionTherefore, I don't see how you could decide to refuse to acknowledge any relationship between Catholisicm and alcohol (which is a drug).
.
this thread should be in the religion and spirituality section. religion is a tough subject
