Considering that mushrooms can be so powerful, we don't really need to posit another drug as being responsible without knowing more.
Also, even if another drug was responsible, considering that there are thousands of potential candidates, don't you think it's premature to be guessing which one did it, based on absolutely no evidence?

Yeah. I think a straightfoward really bad mushroom trip could be responsible here. I almost attacked one of my best friends on a bad trip recently because I was convinced he wanted to kill me. When big doses of psyches go wrong I think there's rarely any point looking for another culprit
