Man had so much coke the drugalyser blew up

Anthony Tutt, 23, had a cocaine blood level that was too high to measure on laboratory equipment, and was seen speeding in his Audi A3 around Eastbourne before being pursued to his home.

Tutt claimed he took a 'big fat line' after getting out of his car after testing positive for drugs on a roadside test by police.

But when experts tried to test his blood they found the amount of the class A drug in his system was above the range a laboratory machine could test.

He was found to be at least sixteen times over the drug-drive limit, but the full level of cocaine in his system could not be fully tested for, police said.

Of course it could be tested for.

All you do is dilute the blood sample by 20X or whatever with stock laboratory blank blood then test it and multiply the answer by 20X.

Dumbass lab techs working for the cops

I enjoyed JCC's audiobook "I Wanna Be Yours" quite a lot. It would sit nicely besides Keith Richard's "Life", in any physical media collection.

Packed full of old school anecdotes, about old school drugs, other old school things, and various other tales of wonder. He really did look after someones pet monkey and take it for walks on a leash IIRC.

And he really did manage to persuade Bernard Manning to let him have a slot on his stage at his club, a really rough local comedy club, to read his poetry.

He didnt get heckled, booed, or bottled off the stage either. Probably much to Bernard Manning's surprise.

I love the fact that channel 4 and the Countdown audience recognise him for his talent for words, and haven't ruled him out because of his colourful past.

I missed a few opportunities to see him live on stage as the main act, and have only managed to see him as the support for Squeeze at The Manchester Apollo, a couple of years ago. They were a bad crowd, not into JCC at all. It's rarely going to bring out the best in anyone if the crowd are disinterested, at best.
