Magic Mushrooms/ Psilocybin in the UK

Psychedelic mushrooms of UK & Europe include many genus even magic truffles. Liberty Caps too, (Psilocybe semilanceata) with it's distinct contact lens/jelly-like clear disc in the cap, is one way of ID-ing this species. HR: Unless you know your stuff, use spore printing to ID your catch (slides with prints are available legally all over the web). Cubensis is also present & I've seen some that grow near Amazonian size, beautifully blue! Advisedly - do not eat as you pick, as anywhere

Psilocybe Montana
Psilocybe Coprophila
Psilocybe Cyanescens
Panaeolus Foenisecii
Aminita Muscaria is the red & white flecked classic toadstool, however, although psychoactive it is not a true Psilocybe, but contains a datura which is a Deliriant, which even as it is hallucinogenic is not Psychedelic.

Have to pick a few holes in this mate. Psilocybe semilanceata does not have a clear disc in the cap (whatever you mean by that) unless you mean inside the cap, but i dont think any of us are going to start dissecting every mushroom for identification purposes. Basically it looks like a tit with a pronounced nipple.

Amanita muscaria contains bufotenine and muscarine, not scopolamine as per datura.
 
Aye I was wondering about that datura bit, considering it's a genus rather than a compound.

I also think that P.Montana has been reclassified as Deconica montana because it doesn't contain psilocybin.
 
I know they grow autumn time but I heard they can grow at other times if the weather is right. Still if anyone knows any places that are usually gold for magic shrooms DM me thanks

Save your money, pal. I bought 22 gram of High Hawaiians (strongest strain they sold) from Amsterdam & I can sincerely say I got much better visual effects from 100 psilocybin shrooms. And the shrooms were free..
 
I've never found a decent place. It's not that they don't exist, I've just never looked in the right place at the right time.

I keep telling the better half we should go out on a hunt. If anything for the walk. Never happens though and that window of opportunity is rapidly closing.

If it's not the weather that is now against you it's the early pickers that got the luck.
 
My first time picking I went to a field I was told about by some real old timers. Came home with a massive bag of liberty caps and since then I think someone has over picked that field because in recent years Ive found nothing in that field.

Think me and my old man are going to head out this season and try and find some new spots :D

I got a one shot deal to do them Thursday. I been getting right into some heavy spiritual meditation and all that and I just gotta give them a go. Again. Did them when I was younger but this won't be the same thing. Got a purpose. Not just getting fucked up for free.
Anyway be eternally grateful for any help. Otherwise I got a manic Thursday to go hunting up the valleys where I from. Used to be millions up there but it miles away and I don't know if they be there now.
