It is not soluble in water, not even increasing the temperature with vigorous stirring, seems to do anything. (hm... forgotten to look it's ph balance then....). After adding 10 mg sodium hydroxide, it dissipated almost immediately with a pH 6,8.
Since I have no chemical training, I try a little NaHCO3 until its basic again, and let it dry first. (don't wonder what I am doing, I have no clue, I want to know what it is but I can't find any media or threads)...
...the powder is no salt, a fact most of you already knew or guessed, but for me it's new. Although it isn't a continuative realisation, ...well at least not for me.
