LSD to quit marijuana

(...) and to turn away from substances such as weed and cocaine. (...)

i don't really get how you can lump together coca and cannabis...

for me cannabis is a lot closer to lsd/shrooms than it is to stimulants, a lot! cannabis is a psychedelic compound for me :) though the amount of psychedelia varies greatly with how i use it... sativa strains vaporized or in edibles are my preferred way for meaningful cannabis-consumption...

the topic at hand is a very difficult one, people often expect psychedelics do be a magical cure for adictions because of success stories they heard from others - magical cure they are not, of course ;)

but they can be quite helpful - i myself can attest to that: i stopped smoking tobaco after my first lsd-trip and pretty much stopped combusting cannabis because of my psychedelic adventures (i'm smoking cannabis like once a month now), also my casual alcohol-consumption has ceased to an all-time low of one glas wine a year... but all this is only the result of the content of my trip(s) not of the compound itself (though i will admit that after a powerful trip i sometimes feel like somebody pressed the reset button for my brain chemistry, which makes it a little easier to use this precise moment for jumping of the train)

i know people who trip frequently and have done so for years and still "enjoy" smoking, drinking, heroin, anything... it's all in your head ;)

I don't think LSD will create some kind of magical neural fix that makes you not want to smoke weed anymore. It doesn't work at all like ibogaine or other psychedelics that re-wire the addiction centre.

However... LSD is a great psychotherapeutic tool. It has the ability to deconstruct most problems and increase your ability to find creative solutions. You could take LSD under the premise of trying to find out why you can't break your pot smoking habit and the answer might become more clear.

You would have to be in the right environment and preferably not alone because you would have to do somewhat higher doses -- enough to challenge the ego.

There is such a thing as pot addiction but it's mostly psychological, so IMO you could use LSD to examine the psychological roots. Often though, it's not addiction but laziness, lack of self discipline, boredom, or social pressures that are the reasons people don't stop smoking pot.

nicely worded. As a former 'weed addict' or stoner i suffered from laziness and boredom more than anything cannabis related.

on Lsd i had the reveletion that smoking weed or tobacco is like polution humans do to earth , that alcohool and etc heroin etc etc are all bad , because they inhibit our natural way of producing high feelings in the long run, and i had the revletion that lsd is the worst of them all in terms that even a mind of a god could be twisted on lsd ..
i didnt smoked or abused anything for about a week then i restarted.

also i had a trip in which i understood why one should become a vegan i became a vegan for about a day or two.

in my opinion LSD cant help you with your willpower it also might dumpen . but you could switch addictions you could reward your self with a trip every week you dont do weed. but its up to your willpower to
not to just start abuse them both.
