LSD to quit marijuana

Some one is a chronic pot smoker and feels like if he quits it will turn for the better. He is thinking about dosing 2 hits of pure LSD25 from a very trustworthy source. He has tripped "acid" and shrooms and has candy/hippie flipped. The first time he took acid he tripped hard off of two hits and 2 very strong exos, and the first time he did shrooms he ate 11.5 grams and took 2 exos. (Long story). The only problem is that I believe that the times he has tripped "acid" it was always 25i or some other rc, the 2 hits of lsd25 will be between 250 and 500 micrograms, supposedly . But I do know it is pure LSD for a fact. He plans on dosing at night when his parents are sleeping. He has done this before but only on somewhat low doses of acid and medium doses of shrooms, 1.5 to 2.5 grams, and has never been unable to control himself except while hippie flipping which is entirely different (shrooms/MDMA(ecstasy)). He plans on watching his little brother play Xbox and just chill out in bed with his cute little puppy and a Nintendo 64. Mario cart and yoshis story btw. Since he may have never had true LSD he is a little nervous (as expected) but looking forward to a very profound experience to find out who he really is and to turn away from substances such as weed and cocaine. Sorry for the long post, I am new to blue light so don't be too hard on me

Sorry I didn't state my question, what he wants to know is what should he expect moving from rcs to real true lsd, and would be be as clear headed as he would be on 25i?

In my opinion, no, LSD can't do this. If it's grass nothing can stop but yourself, it's purely psychological in my opinion. Although prepare to loose appetite and sleep! It takes 2-4 weeks for things to make a noticeable difference in my opinion and much longer to be back to normal. Many people find that when they stop these 2-4 weeks are really good, much more energetic, less anxious etc, however eventually this seems to 'balance' out and you just become normal, in a way that would be a deterrent to me and would make me smoke again.

You may have read online about people using LSD/Psychedelics to help if they are an alcoholic or something. However, I feel personally that this is more to do with them experiencing the truth of their own ego, alcoholics can be aggressive/rude/just generally not good and LSD makes them face the facts truly, disturbing them to the point where they stop. I don't think daily weed smoking produces the same effects so it wont work in the same way, same with cocaine unless your a daily user and it has been causing you issues. However, I'm not an alcoholic and haven't experienced this so don't know.

@specialk_ would LSD help me find myself as with 25i it's strictly visual

I think possibly you make take more from the experience, but people may disagree. If you find 25i strictly visual though then I'd say you would, LSD has a much more interesting headspace at times it can be difficult to change the song on a CD player!

Good luck anyway :) if you truly want to stop grass/cocaine this experience might make you take a good look at your ego and help change you, but you can only do it yourself. Psychedelics I feel need to be taken with a pinch of salt too, guide towards an answer but not provide one. But it could have the opposite effect and just make you cain the drugs more.

LSD has been studied as a treatment for alcoholism in the context of various alcoholism treatment programs. However, just as diet pills won't work unless you eat healthy and exercise, LSD without a treatment program is unlikely to cure an addiction. You also have to consider that pot is not alcohol, they're very different. In my personal experience, LSD makes me want to smoke more, not less.

He has tripped "acid" and shrooms and has candy/hippie flipped.

Sounds like you have plenty of experience with psychedelics, if you've done all these things then you know more or less what to expect from LSD.

The only problem is that I believe that the times he has tripped "acid" it was always 25i or some other rc

Why do you think that?

, the 2 hits of lsd25 will be between 250 and 500 micrograms, supposedly

That's a lot! If it's REALLY your first time taking LSD, and you're really doing it at home where your parents are sleeping, one 125-250 ug dose should be plenty.

looking forward to a very profound experience to find out who he really is and to turn away from substances such as weed and cocaine.

IMHO, you may be disappointed with expectations like these. I wouldn't ask of LSD anything you wouldn't ask of shrooms.

How do you expect LSD to help you, if Shrooms didn't? (especially 11.5 grams8o)

Don't expect any psychedelic to help you in the area you want to. (unless you're addicted to heroin and use Ibogaine) I started using psychedelics for my depression and it hasn't helped in that department, but it has helped me be more empathetic towards others and some other things that I didn't like about my personality. More of interest to you is that it has made me a 1000 times less interested in being high (from weed), but seeing as you have done psychs before, it probably won't.

What's more likely to happen is that it will uncover some underlying problem that is causing you to abuse those substances. If it does, then don't be scared to ask for external help, trying to battle substance abuse with another is likely to end up in abusing that substance.

For optimal results, try to not be occupied with anything. Put on some music, drift away. I don't think playing videogames with your little brother will give you profound thoughts about your life.

1. if you go in with serious intentions it is a possibility that you could get what you are looking for... but psychedelics are very strange so you never know what the outcome is gonna be. im not sure if taking a psychoactive chemical to stop and addiction to another psychoactive chemical is really the answer in the first place.

2. find something else to do.. you will have a much more introspective trip if you lay in your bed by yourself with the lights off for a few hours with your eyes closed then listen to some music or try to draw something
you will get much more profound effects if you are deprived of your senses until your fully tripping(2 hours in or more). rememer... set, setting, and mindset is 80% of the trip

3. you probably arnt getting lsd-25 blotters that are above 120ug in "htown" texas.

4. how do you know the other tabs you have taken where not lsd? where they bitter? did you swallow them? how long did it last?

to be honest I don't think the best lsd I had in 20years which was probably pickard-lsd was much more than 100mics per tab but who knows; tabs of 250-500 sounds like "bollocks" to me

I tend to believe LSD is unlikely to make changes in your day to day life. Always exceptions of course. But there is this commonly held belief that psychedelics will immensely change who you are. If you've tripped before why can't you think back to that and quit smoking? It's almost a way to justify tripping to yourself. I've been there. High dose trips always give me the same sense of deja-vu. The world seems so clear, the things I need to do in life are clear, I can see perfectly everything I need to do. But I know it will fade along with the trip. Back to my normal machine of a self.

Worrying what drug you got could mess up a trip. If someone told me 250-500 mics I would say bullshit. Best tabs I seen were probably a solid 100 mics. 25i isin't terrible either. So just go with it.

unless you come to some sort of deluded revelation that cannabis is bad for you then i dont see how LSD will help. Just try getting rid of all you weed, your bongs, pipes, papers, scales whatever, throw it all out, delete your weed connects number and start associating with people who do not smoke and you'll be able to quit with ease. Also find a new hobby to use up some of that new free time. Take LSD anyway but don't expect it to solve anything, it's going to have to be you who does the hard work, no easy way out of anything.

Wouldn't be deluded at all to admit cannabis is doing you no good. People who are too pro-weed bother me a bit. Some people have lower self-control/dependence issues/whatever that make frequent cannabis use a no no. Probably not a great idea for teenagers/young people either. It can definitely get your life off track, whether or not being on the track is a good thing is another topic :)

Post in the first person please, it's in the rules.

Otherwise, I wouldn't expect psychedelics to necessarily help with this, but there's no reason you can't give it a shot. There's a thread providing support for those wishing to quit herb over in CD, I'd check that out, were I you.

Each tab is supposedly 250mics give or take so the dosage would be between 250 and 500

As I said before I know exactly where this LSD is coming from (not the USA) I know that 250 mics is just what they say but I do know that if you take one hit you trip your face off (not literally). And I know that more than likely the tabs I previously have taken were rcs because I could taste whatever they use to make them orally active

The first time I did a phsycedelic besides MDMA was when I ate 11.5 grams + i will try to come up with a trip report but the memory is so hazy that I'm sure some things will be missing, but I do know that I visited the mysterious void of all knowing

When I first tried Salvia I had a profound anti-addictive feeling, I immediately realised I should quit weed and cigarettes, how pointless they are. So maybe try some of that.

I stay away from salvia, someone know jumped out of a
window and ran into oncoming traffic, thank god the car that hit him just turned onto the road and was going slow

There is at least some evidence that psychedelics, and that includes of course LSD-25, have the power to change behaviours perceived as being negative in the person who uses. But it probably only works for some people, and with repeated use of the psychedelic. How long it works for, when it does, is another question.

So if you think you are that kind of people, and consider smoking mj or anything else is negative, why not give it a try?
But like someone else said above, that kind of change usually comes from taking the drug in a supervised setting, under some kind of program. You wouldn't possibly be able to psychoanalyze yourself. You might be able to reintegrate the trip into something positive, but don't expect much more on your own without outside assistance.

It is quite mad. But it's not always like that. Sounds like he had a very strong dose. I had 10x which isn't so strong so you can choose your level of highness. Also jumping into traffic was the last thing I wanted to do, just lay on my bed.

Anyway it is an unpleasant experience but worthwhile at least for me, because it gave me perspective.

I've been cutting down on my MJ use from daily to just the weekends and its been very eye-opening. The first day of quitting I'm usually irritable as heck but subsequently I feel more alert and sharper in general. My mood is also more stable, and I sleep less. It's quite nice and I recommend trying it. It might seem impossible right now but really the withdrawal is quite mild and it's seriously worth it.

You're gonna be up all night.

Just keep this in mind: LSD -- or any other trip -- might cause you to do something, like quitting weed, or alcohol. But it will never make it easy. You still have to do all the work.

Caveat emptor!
