LSD, Methamphetamine - Hospitalised

I smoked a bit of meth (maybe 50mg)
then about 12 hours i had 3 hits of LSD (note i have had lsd at quantities like this and never ever had a problem)


from what i remember, 30 min after i consumed the LSD, the visuals hit very hard, 30x (hypothetically) stronger then any other time i had 3

i went up to my friend and i told him that things are getting to much and that i may need help. and before i knew it, i was holding on to his arm and i woke up in hospital.



now from what i got told from my friend was that i had a 2 minute seizure, went blue and mouth foamed up. but i got up when the ambulance came and started running away from it (i was not mentally conscious of this because i was obviously not incontrol) so i figured i was in somesort of acid psychosis.

i got flashbacks of being in the ambulance and struggling to get out and them sedating me because i was apparently very aggressive.

I was told my heartrate was 180 + and after sedation it was 130

If prone to seizures, I am sure a meth + acid combo would trigger it in some cases, such as the OP.

Lesson learned: Don't take meth and acid together. Most likely, meth is the bigger culprit here. Just don't do meth.


Edit: There is also the possibility the OP didn't tell us about other drugs in the mix, such as an anti-depressant or something.

Indeed, For instance LSD + Lithium is known to do this exact thing. Amphetamines intensify psychedelics quite a bit as well.
 
^I really can't think of many things that would be worse than going to the hospital because of meth and acid. You must have had a very hard life. I hope you are doing better TT.
 
Many years ago, at the then-in-full-swing pioneering London club night Megatripolis, I took a black microdot of rather shitty LSD and then snorted a gram of heavily cut amphetamine sulphate (i.e. about 80% glucose). Spent the night hallucinating in a corner, agitated but unable to communicate, experiencing conversations with people who weren't there, including my dead grandparents and Adolf Hitler (I'm Jewish: he had nothing nice to say).

When I came down, I realised the truth of what a dealer had tried to tell me before I dropped the dot:

That Yardie knew his shit.

A lot of tabs in Australia these day's are still up to 100umg, so 3 trips is still a large load in even the most experienced user. Throw amphetamines into the mix and I have yet to see anyone deal with it easily.

I regularly take high doses of both LSD and MDMA together, it's called candy flipping. It is one of my favorite combos! <3

Sorry to hear about this horrible experience!! Maybe it was bromo-dfly?!? Or a DOx?

That is really shitty, and I hate to hear about experiences like this..
 
Low doses of LSD or mushrooms can be an absolutely fucking blast mixed with methamphetamine or dexamphetamine, I've had many great experiences on the combo. You need to know your own tolerances and how you react to them. Though I've also had horrible, terrifying experiences on the combo - those have happened when I didn't dose properly or time my dosing well either. The combination isn't for the faint-hearted that's for sure.

IME never consume psychedelics when you are coming down off amphetamines or about to comedown. And MOST importantly know the strength of your drugs and dose appropriately, and time those doses correctly also. It's a fine line between an awesome time and hell on Earth.

QFT. Goes for MDMA too. Basically the only thing worse than a miserable grinding comedown is tripping through said.
