Hi all,
I am currently 72 hours into - what should be - a pretty horrible withdrawal from Poppy Pod tea, and I feel obliged to post this.
I have been attempting to get clean for the past month and a half, and have continuously relapsed around this time, or occasionally one or two days further into the withdrawals. This time, I have been taking approx 30-40mg of loperamide once a day, beginning on the last day that I used.
I have zero withdrawal symptoms right now, and am even in a really good mood, where normally by this time, I would feel like living hell, and suffer pretty intense depression and anxiety.
I find the people on here who ridicule those who support loperamide childish, and ignorant. I can assure you that this is not the placebo effect that I am currently experiencing.
I sincerely hope that those who find themselves standing on the precipice of withdrawals at least consider using loperamide as a withdrawal aid. I am 100% certain now that it works, and it is much more effective then I could have ever imagined.
I will update as I continue on through my withdrawals, as I am interested to see how coming off of the loperamide works out.
Also, I had a normal bowel movement this morning, so I am not worried about faecal obstruction.
Update:
WARNING: IF YOU USE LOPERAMIDE AT HIGH DOSES, BE KIND TO YOUR DIGESTIVE SYSTEM, AND LOAD UP ON WATER AND POLYETHYLENE GLYCOL; I FIND THAT THIS IS THE MOST EFFECTIVE STOOL SOFTENER FOR OPIATE INDUCED RECTUM-RIPPERS. I almost went to the ER with a horrible impaction a week following this post. The irony is strong with this one...
