Looking for a junkie friend

it's like smoking a fag

Thanks for reminding me, I need a cigarette and you are right. Also🤣.
I really miss the 80's and nineties, when I was young people were not a bunch of cry babies, looking to blame everyone but themselves for their problems.

Thank you for the insight good sir. Lol as a straight white dude there really are no terms that hit me like that until I ran into "junkie."

Very very good points. I always say "Junkie" as an add on to addicted to narcotics. Like "man he became a junkie after like 5 yrs of use and started robbing ppl etc/ w.e

I also do not understand "reclaiming" the n word but im not black so I guess I shouldn't wrack my brain too hard?

Well I support the mission statement. I find it highly inplausable to come back from a term being derogatory but Im all with the idea.

How could I even apply junky in a positive way? "Fuck any junky could do better at the red cross." "A junky woulda known that was a cop an hour ago" Ok im gettin it I think.... forreal thanks for the insight I thought it was just a hair split.
hahaha no problem man!
I have a close friend who runs an underground noise/electronic label called "Junkie And Proud". So there's one way to use it in a positive/creative way. lol
I think intention is the most important part. If I say "fuck yeah I'm a junkie bastard", that just means I love drugs/heroin & aren't ashamed of it. But if some non-user says "look at that junkie bastard", then of course it's meant to be derogatory.
:p

One major problem, heroin doesn't exist in America and pills are hard to get anymore.

Speaking of that word. I have always used wit the definiton 'weak stick' as the word was explained to me when I heard it.

Now im the bad guy cuz I call a group of folk decided to run from a cop that didn't exist and fell off a ledge. "that was some faggy shit" definitely a mixed gender crowd. I guess that word is no longer mine to use. (oh no what should I do!?!? Reminds me of white kids that say they could make it in the rap world if they could say the n word) Ok I haven't heard that in awhile but I definitely heard it alot growing up and thought "TF?"

Is it the word rhymes with what you want, or you just need a couple syllables as filler....either way no that is categorically not your problem

Nah there's still real heroin that is actually high quality, just gotta know the right people
Not, like it was, I never went near it, but I guess Ohio is more than meth. So you know these people( not sourcing)?

I don't use it but yeah there's non black tar real stuff I could get right now, but you gotta pay up for it. But yeah, the market definitely isn't what it was

This is highly location based. I dont think anything in detroit hasn't been hit with fent before it comes in the US.... Let me know if something doesn't test positive for fent, xylazine, or nitrines....in MI, not sourcing just looking to hear if it still exists.

Roughly where abouts on the marble are you located electrum?

It is weird that tar got brought up; that is the only kind I CAN access that hasn't bieen hit with fent already. Really should probably pursue that but not my fave people.

... And it's a sodding STUPID term in my opinion. Some uptight anal-retentive PC wanker somewhere decided that to use proper nouns is 'insulting' to people. Oh you MUSTN'T say 'autist', or 'schizophrenic', or 'drug user', because apparently that 'reduces' the individual to the condition they suffer from / the behaviour they're engaging in, and makes that the only thing about them.

APPARENTLY. Because y'know I never met anyone who thought that until they were TOLD to think that.

OBVIOUSLY there's more to me than my drug use. But when you are talking to or about me IN THE CONTEXT OF my drug use, pray why would I be offended at being called a drug user -?
That's nothing but a straightforward mention of an objective FACT about myself.

... You will notice that this nit-picking language policing is ONLY applied when it comes to anything generally viewed as having a negative connotation, never neutral things. I mean I've yet to see anyone whining that joggers should PLEASE be called 'people who jog' and implying you're a horrible bigot if you find that unnecessary and ludicrous.

PS I'm a liberal (in the original sense of live and let live), I'm a far (traditional) leftist, I'm an XY male with an intersex condition, I am a drug user. I'm not afraid of mere words 'systematically discriminating' me and I have ZERO patience for all the current pussy-footing, ego-wanking identity politics bollocks.
Well think you are completely right on [šŸ¤™ on what you wrote last at the end, the PS].
And about the nit picking. Bitch, Fuck, Junk, imo normal words when used in the proper context. Dutch like to swear using deadly diseases/ religions etc. which is acceptable here, but for someone from Polland, apperently shocking, too witness Dutch are pretty good at cursing. He reflected this to us, and ok he had a good point. Internet makes it eassier to misinterpret things, so logically its harder to get it right.

What to me was way more insulting was the NA, insisting drug use is a disease/ sign of weak personality. That sounded really degrading and outdated info btw. Or how they treated the people in Detox; as 2-nd class people. But most do not listen to free advice.

That remark you refer to, PWUD, was totally unknown to me [i prefer a person intrigued by the effects of drugs to a high degree more].
So tried to turn a serious reply into a puzzle/ or a joke, violent behaviour never got humans very far. Seen this happen a lot lately personal attacks, hairsplitting, derailing threads and provocating other Bluelighter's for ...?

PS. "'reduces' the individual to the condition they suffer from / the behaviour they're engaging in, and makes that the only thing about them."
Also called stigmatizing, happens all the time over here/ real life. Polarizing people from each other and dividing them. Dont sound very good. Sounds like a.o. politics, are on the wrong road. Stigmas are based upon assumptions, prejudice not on human equality, facts or the law.

And you have to buy enough to put you in prison for a decade. These are dangerous ppl to even know.

ā€œMF ain’t gonna lay no dime bag on you that’s for damn sureā€ - Requim for a Dream

This heroin is definitely not for the typical moneyless opioid addict that lives dollar to dollar and fix to fix
