Looking for a junkie friend

Cunt is not a casual word except in The UK
I'm Irish, cunt is used in affectionate way. Just like the UK and Australia. Its not used as a slur for the most part ( it can be on certain occasions) but this is rare. My best friend for instance I would describe as a funny cunt, my younger brother a clever cunt... I could go on and on. It comes from a good place you see, it's just slang.

That that word, cunt, Really if bad over in America. Calling a woman over here a cunt, may bring out the worst in a woman here and could lead to, getting hit, then what?

What about if Courtney Love had a younger sister or that crazy ass bitch Sid vicious was dating and may or may not have killed, Nancy Spungen ( mis). Woman will walk all over you if they think they can. But my point is just hearing the word, cunt , will really piss American women off. It is like bitch but to the millionth power, ok that is pushing it a bit. However that's basically the worst thing a man can call his girlfriend or wife or just some other women in America. I also get the impression that English women are probably less violent than their American counterparts. Some American women have such angry control issues. You can't imagine; I think it, it is because of this me first ideology and the ridiculous consumerism that only leves people broke, and materialistic. Also a crazy ass bitch is just that. Sid's old lady could be called anything negative and no one would care.

Anyways cultural anomalies and linguistic differences aside, what ticks all the boxes to qualify as a 'junkie'? That's a word I detest btw, I mean everyone has a monkey on their back. Alcohol, gambling and cocaine being mine. Oh, I don't think American ladies would hold a candle to the violence that Irish or British ladies can casually dish out.

Hello!
Lately I’ve been feeling so alone. I would like to make some friends that also use. It sucks not being able to talk to anyone about shit or vent. I don’t think I would have much success putting “34, female, dope head” on match.com.
48yr old man, speed freak. I would love a friend like you!

Hello hmu

I'm really torn right now over an ex, she's a good person and I miss her but I don't miss being married to her. I have a substantial meth habit, but work 40+. I'm currently trying to get off methadone, and not pay $10 a fucking day whether I dose or not. By all means you go right ahead and vent! I'm listening

It means only one thing these days, and that's specifically 'heroin addict on the needle'. The definition originally was a bit more loose in that it was applied to compulsive users of opiates of any type, but even then it implied 'injecting morphine user' more than anything else. There's a bit of an argument about the derivation ; might be from 'junk' as a generic slang term for illegal drug, or the fact that many users back in the day scoured junkyards for re-saleable parts to finance their habit.

Personally I've never minded the term. I know people use it in a derogatory sense, but I used it for myself and so did everyone of the other users I hung out with. In a way I even took pride in it.
Also why sugarcoat. I have an aversion to needless euphemisms. Picking a 'nicer-sounding' word for something doesn't make prejudices go away, it just makes shit sound ridiculous. We don't have retarded people anymore, they have 'special needs' instead. Nobody is handicapped, they're merely 'differently abled'. etc like give me a break. You can call me by some nonsense acronym like PWUD, that doesn't change the fact I shot heroin into my veins several times a day.
I WAS a damn junkie ; I own that.

I just don't like that word mate, I'm a daily cocaine user, both powder and rock, alcoholic, gambler, amphetamines and ectacy pills are always nearby and of course a massive benzo habit. I AM an addict, and that owns me. I also don't know what pwud means.
