fair enough... putting them all together would be good for a rough overall scale... grading pot is very personal anyway... what may be awesome pot for someone in one area could be average pot for someone else in other area... But I do think hydro buds provide a different sort of stoned than bush buds and it would be hard to compare a bush bud to a hydro bud... or is that just me then?

some of it is the strain.. strains that do well in hydro indoor grows may not do well outside... ideally the scale should be easy enough for anyone to use. this is why im using factors like look and smell. keep the ideas coming :)

ive had sum weed thats looked crap but gotten me fukked off my nugget from like half a cone it was a yellowys brown but smelled tops wher wood that go?
and i thought skunk was just the name of a strain i didnt think it was grown in a special way

umm in my parts, or maybe its just my group but we use the term "skunk" to refer to weed which has been grown using artificial lighting but in soil.

as opposed to hydro which is artifical lighting and grown in a water solution, and bush is natural lighting (sun) and soil.

yeh, i thought it was a strain bcoz ther is like skunk, skunk 2, super skunk etc. and wher i come from alot of bud is grown under a light but is just called bush sum is good sum is shitty and all weed ive had that ive been told is skunk has been wikked bud

Lets start a site called weed reports... where people take a pic of their herb and then post it and rate it.

thats a great idea id do it but a)dont hav a clue how to and
b) cbf

so im strongly urging sum champion pothed internet guy out ther to do it for all of us champion pothed guys that either cant or cant b fukked

any more ideas on the grading scale? wanna expand on the letter-number scale? I like this scale. the letter should be an objective scale regarding appearance and the number scale is a subjective scale on the high. i think perhaps the number scale should be less rigid and perhaps not have definitions for the number but just an overall number

i think it sounds good, the letter should have a definiation and the number should have a slight definition.

1 will obviously be the best and have no real negative "after effects" while 5 will be almost no high at all.

Lets start using it

word.. im gonna write up the scale in an easy to understand way first but then i might make a sticky post recommending people use the scale when talking about the grade of their pot

itll b good to get a grading scale but i think it will have to be constantly modified and improved like sum1 will say we dont we put this on the scale or wher wood this kind of weed go

i'm trying to get some of that out of the way now :) what do you think drinky? what should we add/change?

I don't know about scales but there is some serious 1 hit hydroponic called BC bud in Canada that is light green with red and gold "streaks" through it and no seeds. Very strong smell. Great stuff. Actually a lot of high grade hydro up here.

Where In Canada you live bro, I'm not too far away from the border?
;) :p

Because F is so close and it stands for FAIL, or Fuckin' Crappy!

UHM, skunk is typically Dutch grown weed, extremely potent, no seeds ever, but the taste usually leaves something to be desired(here at least). I am from Holland, and here Skunk is only used to describe Dutch weed. And it is a strain, and ofcourse it can be grown outside of holland, but it`s origin is Dutch. I love having good weed all of the time, I am not that experienced at growing yet, but I never grow anything like the ugly stuff I see some people smoking on Overgrow.com, and I can always buy good weed everywhere at a good price, you should all move here and smoke a J with me
