Legality of Research Chemicals in Australia?

Im back! *how to check legal status of some RCs?

hi guys,

How do i go about checking the legal status of certain RCs?

I know here in Australia anything even slightly similiar to illegal compounds are also classified as illegal. Problem is, i have no clue what is similiar etc. Is there an easier way?
 
Or pretty much just give up, as chances anything worth it won't make it through. It's not going to be worth a court case to try to get it back if they do seize it.

only ever tried importing salvia, which isnt a RC and it got siezed. arghh
 
Yea salvia is border controlled here no wonder it got seized LOL u need a license to import that. U can actually buy plants in Aussie they are grown here just like poppys in Tassie:) Wouldnt wanna try to import those either.
 
I noticed on an old archive about RC's in Australia (http://www.bluelight.ru/vb/showthread.php?t=53981)

"I have imported 3 grams each of 2C-T-7 and 5-MeO-DiPT every three months for over a year.
It is legal to do so for personal use, so long as you only import 3 months supply at a time.
Check out the "Therapeutic Goods Act"."

Does anyone know if this is true? I've looked through the act but I can't see where.Maybe someone with a bit more knowhow can shed some light?
 
to the poster above p_d, those drugs are not considered Therapeutic Substances. They're considered "Amphetamine Type Stimulants" by LE and Customs/Border Protection. You'd be right if the substances you were looking at importing were things like Phenibut, GABA, Piracetam (which seems to be highly overlooked even with it's schedule).

Benzo's and the like don't seem a problem either, customs just sends a love letter for anything they do find as it's really not worth it (and generally its small letters with some pills in a baggie.. nothing to brag about).

Substances covered by the Therapeutic Goods Act, yeah sure - some of them can get you high.. some of them also make you feel like rat shit, and others make you 'smarter' if you can handle gargling on 4g of fucking vomit every morning.
 
I know most people in here (from what I read) couldn't care less about JWH XXX RCs...

But I have found that any kind of JWH XXX enters the country without any issues at all. I personally don't enjoy the effect whatsoever, but I know a lot of people who work away on mines who love this stuff! I am 99% certain it is illegal, perhaps only to import. To posses this RC I have heard it is ok... and that was direct from LE! So who knows... In addition to this I have also heard that: N,N-diallyl-5-methoxytryptamine, 1,3-dimethylamylamine, and AM2201 (sorry this ones was new to me when i heard, all i know it's around 3 times stronger than JWHXXX series), are getting into Australia on an almost daily basis... Interesting since we all believe the Australian customs are the tightest next to the USA.

RCs, any kind, are an extremely grey area in Australia, with the TGA laws not being really as clear as they should regarding the legality of importation onto Aussie soil... For the time being, I am quite enjoying the few RCs getting around (Melbourne), and will be taking advantage of these until customs steps up its game...
 
DMAA isn't illegal in Australia, it's in lots of pre-workout supps readily available here.
 
my knowledge of chemistry is really poor, but does anyone know if it might be illegal to import JDtic, the kappa opiod antagonist? interested in trying it for depression

I agree that this is the case most of the time although my friend recently had a knock on the door from some officers regarding a package containing a measly 15 2mg bars. He's scheduled for court soon. I had never heard of this happening over something so small but just a warning as this was very recent (last week).

Please don't order benzos, it isn't worth it.
