Legal Lsd Drug Is Sold To Kids For Just £8.50

In a shocking investigation which will horrify parents, we sent a 14-year-old schoolgirl into new-age shop Zen at Moseley, Birmingham.

As opposed to a 14-year-old "non-school" girl? I love how they throw in the word schoolgirl to lend more of an innocent, child theme. It's the little adjectives that really make these sort of articles propaganda crap.

And the media likes to think they've made progress from the early days of the Hearst papers.

They would call any Psychedelic an LSD like drug, because they have already made LSD sound bad, just like crack, so anything associated with it will sound bad as well...

And there is ONE truth in the entire article, which is overlooked by most people.

Salvia can kill, just like weed can kill, just like cigarettes can kill. I don`t smoke cigarettes, but I do smoke pot, so if I die from lungcancer, it WILL be a pot-related death, just like someone who only smokes salvia and gets lungcancer from that will be a salvia-related death. Only thing is that this paper makes people think you can die from just taking one puff, which is obviously rediculous

I sincerely doubt anyone is smoking enough Salvia extract to get cancer - if they are on Salvia 24/7 then cancer will be the least of their problems.

Also - there is no data that I know of on carcinogens in Salvia leaves - let alone in the concentrated extracts.

"is smoked in a joint, pipe or "bong" - large water-cooled pipes used by crack users."

wouldn't smoking crack though a water-pipe be very inefficient because of cocaine's water solubility?

Freebase cocaine is actually insoluble in water - but I have never actually known anyone to smoke crack in a bong - that was just added to taint Salvia by association with a wel known menace to society :(

i LOVE the way IMPORTANT words are CAPITALISED in order to GIVE THEM more WEIGHT. it SURE makes the ARTICLE look more PROFESSIONAL!

seriously, the 'sunday people' carries as much journalistic credence as the national enquirer - no wait, less.

it's not all like this in england though. just last week the two most popular afternoon talkshow hosts - a couple called Richard & Judy - organised for a doctor to take salvia live on british tv at 4pm.

he sat in a park & smoked some, talking about what the effects were like. and he didn't think it should be illegal :)

LOL - it would have been funny if he got a breakthrough dose and hit the ground screaming about elves - not sure how well that would have gone down =D

Ive read Some of these Witch Docter type things and they didnt even smoke it. they chewed on cigar sized logs of compacted leaves. I dont know who came up with the idea of smoking in. When i tried salvia it didnt work, both times. It was the hottest smoke ive ever put in my lungs. It probly wasnt very potent. Id like to try eating it...the effects probably last alot longer to.
