legal downers?

It seems that legal highs are everywhere, especially speed/E substitutes.
But what about sedative and hypnotic substitutes? Do such things exist? Anyone got any experience with such things?
 
^ Nice answer! As said though, there really are not any 'good legal' sedatives/hypnotics out there. Not unless you consider alcohol - legal for those 21+. However, I wouldn't really think that'd be the best idea anyway (for purely enjoyment purposes).
 
Could someone list some legal, or easily Importable via Internet downers to search for on erowid? I'll gladly search there but besides kava, kratom(nvr was a downer for me) I really don't see or kno off too many. The first benzo type drug listed on this thread intrigued me (Phenazepam) thanks for any suggestions guys!
 
I like downers so much more than uppers, I'd be very happy if there were some more obtainable downers out there, I haven't even bothered ordering any phenazepam because so far reports are that its just cut to shit lately. Was good when it first came out, but then people realized its so powerful they will just cut it 9000x and make that much more profit, and people will still buy chasing the dream of it, god damn.

I would guess mine is cut about in half, but even at that it's cheap as dirt. One of these days I'll throw some in a filtering flask and sucks some water through it and weigh it after to see how much weight (if any) it looses. Obviously this will only work if the cut is water souluable, but most common cutting agents are since they are more commonly used with water soluable drugs like coke and meth, rather than a water-insoluable benzo. When I do I will report the results. All so planning to try some phenazepam from another vendor so I can do a cut vs. cost evaluation since the other source has a very good reputation (I think he might be a bluelighter). Actually more interested in other thing they offer like etizolam (phen just lasts phorever), 2-methyl 2-butanone (tertiary allyl alchohol, 20 times as potent as ethanol supposedly without hangover), and if it gets decent reports ethaqualone (qualuude analog). Also 1,4 butendiol is on the "to do list". Would rather get GBL but that would have to go through customs and big ass bottles probably get more scrutiny than a letter. Oh I yeah gotta try kava and kratom. So many drugs, so little time=D It's an opiate not a downer exactly, but did anyone mention pods? Floral decorations that have you pin holed and puking, LOL
 
Kava is actually a really good downer despite the "legal" label that tends to make such substances sound less-than-exciting.

L-theanine, while mild, is respectable in helping with sleep/relaxation.
