Lecithin Granules Dosage Question

I know this isn't a psychedelic drug but there's a B&D on nootropics here and no nootropics sub forum so I don't know where else to post something relate to nootropics.

I just received a 2lb bag of lecithin granules today. I've been using alpha-gpc at 300mg a day but this is too expensive for me.
From what I've read on BL, 1200mg of lecithin seems to be pretty standard; however, the container that it came in said to take 2 tablespoons indicating that this should be a 10g dose. I weighed out 1 tablespoon and it was about 7.5gs so I think the portions on the container are way off.
I'm just trying to find a good dose. Does the usual 1200mg dose mean that much of soy lecithin or that much of one of the components of soy lecithin meaning that enough soy lecithin should be taken so that 1200mg of that component is ingested?

I did order more alpha-gpc which I plan on taking with the lecithin 4-5days a week when I work out and will probably only take 300mg of alpha-gpc with half of whatever dose I figure out to be normal for lecithin.
The only other nootropics I'm taking with this is piracetam and hydergine but my current supply of hydergine just ran out and I don't know how long it will be until I get more since it's not the easiest thing to come by in large quantities and good quality (FAS) for a cheap price.
 
Well you could have posted in the same B&D Nootropics thread you mentioned yourself. :)

FWIW some of those nootropic or supplement packagings seem to suggest fairly curious dosages so I would consider them an indicator if you have nothing else or just to remind you but not as solid fact to go on. I think lecithin is pretty safe so perhaps the manufacturer is thinking: it couldn't hurt and can ensure the most noticeable result and it will run out sooner. But in reality it could be overkill.
I don't share this philosophy on 'more is at least sufficient', supplements have more or less influence on metabolism equilibria and what not. Of course their mode of action is not always as delicate but I do think after reading about people's stacks, that those who take multiple grams of things are usually overdoing it. The same goes for piracetam for example. Maybe that is easy to say when you get results at lower doses.

Anyway no recommended daily dose / allowance is set for lecithin which makes sense with what I said earlier: just taking more increases availability for it to be used as a lecithin source. Also the 1200 mg is meant to be taken multiple times at once and optionally more than once a day...
Based on the above I'd go with something like 2x2g a day or 3g once I guess. But I use choline citrate myself.
 
Yeah sorry, I've always been wary of posting in the B&D's cuz I don't feel like I get much response ever and I always feel like I need a disclaimer like that at the beginning of my threads here.

Thanks for the info though. I have somewhat of an idea on what my stack will be.
