kobe > Lebron
for a more historic look on the debate.
This list is a compilation of old stats on the web.
for a more recent look just take a look at the conferance finals playing out right now.
kobe's lakers are up 2-1 while lebrons cavs are down 2-1. and both of the lakers wins are because of bryants clutch plays in the last few minutes, while lebron has been choking in the fourth quarter, sure he made a great buzzer beater in game 2, but kobe is just more reliable in the fourth quarter hands down. in game three for the cavs I saw lebron miss 2 freethrows in a row when the cavs needed him most down by 6 with under 2 minutes to go. those 2 misses gave him a total of five missed freethrows in the fourth quarter alone. he then missed two consecutive 3 point shot attempts. play like this wouldnt happen by kobe. when its clinch time. kobe wills his team to a victory and that is why hes the best.
Kobe is the better player for now, but lebron is still young so you never know what time will give us.
