Something that I can't help but notice about some tryptamines is that they can be quite sedating on the body. DMT and 4-AcO-DMT have given this effect to me so much that I feel like I could barely move if I tried, or at least at the beginning for the latter. With mushrooms I feel like I have a bit more energy to get up and move, but then once I actually try I usually end up sitting down somewhere and staring off into space almost as quickly as I managed to stand up in the first place.
One thing I really love about LSD is that it has powerful hallucinations like those tryptamines do, but it also comes with a strong physical energy that can keep me up and about for the majority of the experience if I want it to be. I don't necessarily need that much stimulation, but it's just really the ease of lucid interaction with the world that I enjoy from it. While it can be fun and enlightening to dive deep into my own mind sometimes, I also find that some of my most profound and beautiful experiences come from seeing a powerful psychedelic state blending into my external environment as I navigate through it. Because of the energy that LSD gives me while still being strong, especially in higher doses, it tends to produce those kinds of trips relatively easily.
So far, I have a good feeling about 4-HO-MiPT, but I've only tried it one time as of yet. How do other tryptamines stack up in this way? I have to say that I'm curious if other 4-HO to 4-AcO transitions will cause a stronger sedation like 4-AcO-DMT has over mushrooms for me. I'm also wondering how difference in the intensity of mental effects will play a role, and how they will relate to visuals.
What has been your experience with different tryptamines? Which ones would you say are most fitting for this type of outside world exploration while still providing a significantly rich visual experience?
