Pharmacology Latuda - how does it

When we consider what specific neurotransmitters or receptors do it can be difficult to make broad generalizations like "serotonin makes us happy" because serotonin has so many different receptor subtypes and these subtypes have specific functions, usually in certain circuits. They are largely modulatory and do have an impact on mood but we need to taken into account the complexity of circuitry and the different functions that the receptors are involved in modulating

Yeah it seems it’s becoming the thing to focus more on circuitry. Afterall that’s why I have bipolar disorder. My circuits are messed up.

I did ask a psychiatrist today because I may have lithium toxicity but I had her on the phone and asked and she said that it acts as a reuptake inhibitor but that sounds bogus. I think it’s likely modulating circuitry like serotonin synthesis. I read somewhere that Latuda increases serotonin synthesis. Idk which part of the brain tho.

I guess I just don’t understand on how blocking my dopamine and serotonin is going to improve my depression. She said it’s like vraylar which she wanted to give me first but I told her I got I think manic in vraylar and very aggressive which isn’t like me and I fear that experience again. So she gave me this and said they act very similarly.

Can anyone please help me understand how Latuda works? For BD depression.

From a different angle, seizures. Investigating the medical side,
their prescription drugs that besides massive side effects often are lacking in effiency. All patended chemicals, and if you go through NCBI their loads of Plants.

That not only do the same as the chemicals they do it better.
Have side effects that are beneficial instead of irritating.
Yet they are not used in a good medical form, while reseach shows,
they are at least equally effective but more like better.

Better tolerated no negative side effect, Ashwaghanda is associated with liver damage though, but in general. They work better and have as bonus they broad spectrum. So enhance maybe cognition/ memory, stimulate Neurogenesis are Anti Oxidants. Still they are made use of ?

Mulungu active alkaloid [?] was superiour to Diazepam for treating a seizure !
And preventing em. Win win for them, they hate giving benzo s anyway.
Still their heads are in the arse of the Pharma industry. 🖕
