Last movie you watched?

Cape Fear on Cinemax.....a nice surprise. Haven't seen it in years (but I have seen it several times!) Never gets old. This is a rare thriller-bordering-on-campy by Scorcese thats for damn sure=D

You ready to be born again, Miss Bowden?

PS. It's amazing how in films like these the bad guy ALWAYS gets in the fucking house. I mean, are the locks really that flimsy? jeez.

PPS. This is the prolly the last film I've seen Juliette Lewis in looking respectable and cute. lol. She's gone the white trash route fast!

^I love that film!. I think it was Juliette Lewis' best performance actually. I love that scene where Robert De Niro puts his thumb in her mouth. Very unnerving. Tho she had no idea he was gonna do that, so that's probably why her reactions were as good as they were.

I also like Illeana Douglas in this film, and most other films for that matter too. I think she's a very underrated actress. Her and Amanda Plummer deserve more credit for their work.

i watched Go two nights ago.

i love how it does the Pulp Fiction non-linear narrative thing. it's a straight up rip off and the film, to its credit, doesn't make any apologies for it. for me, this movie belongs into a trilogy with Fight Club and The Beach. They all came out at roughly the same time and all of them explore identity and its connection with pleasure in some way.

^^ if jack cant help a movie noone can. is it true he is never outside at night without sunglasses?

last movie i saw was the godfather part III i came in at the middle but from what i saw i was unimpressed

Reservoir Dogs, after watching Pulp Fiction last week I had to dust this one off.

^
i wish Tarantino would get back to the gangster movie genre. Not that I didn't like Kill Bill, but Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction are masterpieces. I was fortunate enough to see these back-to-back on the big screen at a film festival once.

Peter Jackson's version of King Kong.

Fantastic. Peter Jackson continues to carve out an impressive niche for himself in film history. A blockbuster with real heart, & I was impressed with how closely it stuck to the original too.

Talking of remakes..... Cape Fear: If you haven't seen it yet, then the original with Robert Mitchum is well worth seeking out. It's a superior film to the Scorsese version IMO.

I was disappointed too. I don't know what I was expecting from it but it didn't deliver. But I've got a strange feeling it might be better on the second viewing. It seems like one of those films you need to give a second chance to.

I saw the break up..I think something was wrong with the copy of it they had in our theater..it was like an unedited bootleg or something and you could see the microphones in every shot...which was VERY distracting but I thought it was a pretty cool movie over all. Kinda depressing, I thought it would be funnier. But I could relate to their fights and stuff..been in situations like that myself.

don't say a word.

you know, the one with britney murphy saying, "i'll never tell". it was ok. not that i approached it with high expectations or anything.

watched Bubble last night, more like short film than a full length movie, only clocks in at 72/3 minutes. Very watchable and quite interesting but i was left wanting more, didnt quite satisfy

I just watched Dr. Strangelove for the millionth time. God, that movie just gets better every time I see it! :D
