Last movie you watched?

^^^that was the last new movie i watched as well...but i was a bit out of it on benzos and opiates to not nod off in the middle of it so i have to re-watch it soon...otherwise the last movie i saw was "Life of Brian", but i've seen that one a million times...i'm just gonna watch "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels"

sorry to thread-jack...but does anyone know anything about the new Guy Richie movie (i think it's called "Revolver")?

40 year old virgin - Not as funny as I hoped but still quite entertaining. Especially liked that old Turkish guy -"GO FUCK A GOAT!!"

Also saw 'Be Cool', with John Travolta. Excellent!!!

The Gods Must Be Crazy

This movie is funny as hell when you are ripped. Its got a pretty cool message too.

secret window. not bad, not great, but i like depp.

halfway through Wonderland. I'm excited to watch the rest! mmmm drugs.

I've seen that about 80 times.
Addicted to Love on HBO. lol.....nothing worse than meg ryan in black eyeliner and leather trying to pass as "tough" *shudder*

:D I'm currently watching Bonnie & Clyde. Everytime I watch this film I'm reminded of just how much I love it. The last scene is similar to and just as classic as Butch Cassidy & The Sundance Kid. Their last look, then the scramble towards each other is what defines great filmmaking. I'm going to finally just up and buy it. :)

Secret Window wasn`t bad at all! Whilst watching it I grew very tired of it, and thought it was just another one of those crime mystery thrillers, but towards the end I realised it was deliberately being stereotypical, in order to prepare the audience for that little twist (even if it had been done before in other movies).

I just re-read what you wrote, "not bad, not great", so I can assume you mean it was in between, a.k.a. `it was good / OK`?? Not a bad movie if you want to kill some time.

The film I have been practically begging someone to go see with me since December... Capote. Somehow, either everyone I asked didn't want to see it (crazy talk) or had already seen it.

I waited so long that I had gotten through the first couple chapters of In Cold Blood before I saw the film. I'm not too sure if this was a good idea or not, but I can't wait to finish the book now. :)

^I've wanted to see that movie for some time but have always put it off. Is it worth buying the DVD?. I just love Patricia Clarkson!.

^
I usually only buy movies if I am going to watch them three or more times in a year. The Station Agent was great, but I can't see myself sitting down and watching it again for a long time. The plot was pretty straight forward, and there probably isn't too much to be learned on repreated viewings. The story very much centers on a dwarf who is infatuated with railroads. The other two actors give fantastic performances...but there isn't too much happening. It's all rather simple but charming. It's also a very short movie at only 89 minutes.

But don't let me stop you.
