a classic! popeye. not as good as my childhood remembers, but i adored it as a kid. if there weren't sentimental reasons, it probably would not be nearly as enjoyable. this was robin williams first movie, and he is just awesome. and shelly duvall could not bring to life olive oil any better than she did. good fun.

and next on hbo is lake placid, another horribly wonderful gem. yay!

^yes it was. Yesterday while nursing a wicked hangover, I watched the following.

it was alright. those kids aren;t very smart, no planning whatsoever, and the dialogue was just retarded. i couldn't buy the characters as real people.

FUCK the ending in this movie....that was terrible. All around a good movie, sometimes the cinematography bothered me a bit.

This movie was badass. The cinematography, the acting, the plot, the music. I really liked it.

7 hours of movies straight...i think i'll take a break for a while.

Well it's not that i didn't like it. I actually quite agree with you, it was fantastic, wouldn't of worked any other way. I just meant it was terrible in a sense of it being so damn sad. I got chills when he started screaming, imagining myself in that position, it would be completely soul crushing... :( I thought the actor did a very nice job.

Doomsday was the last movie I saw in the theatre. It was ok, lots of gore and action, but the story kinda went everywhere and the character development was weak. But for a popcorn movie it was ok.

"Bottom's Up"

I like Jason Mewes and Kevin Smith as "Jay & Silent Bob" and thought I'd see this one just for the hell of it. It's kind of like Cruises "Bartender" starring Jay. Not a terribly memorable film. Jason was at least believable as his role and got in some good jabs which are too over the head of Paris Hilton for her to realize they really are jabs at her personally. LOL If her acting abilities were in question, rest assured this film shows she has none. The high points of this one were Mewes and Smith and the lines that were obviously written by Smith...oh yeah and the pretty consistent pot smoking.
Only watch it if you are stoned.
Snoogans.

the only thing that could ever make a paris movie worth watching would be those two. i love that smack head and his fat quiet man behind the scenes.
