In all seriousness, i wonder whether people sharing Oceanboy's moral/religious views would experience visions and the like commonly associated with moderate to high doeses of certain psychedelic drugs? the way i see it, either they would, or they'd come to an equally profound realisation that did not involve organised religion (as accepted by the majority of society)...

Morality is a pretty loose concept in general use. Maybe we shouldn't assume "moral" = "how Christians are told to act". My pretension is just enough for me to point to Kant and his claim that the only thing with moral value is the Good Will. You can have a Good Will without being told how to act. Now i will go back to justifying my decadence in any way i can
