Man. I met these two red headed sluts, and then after that, my night was all like, woosh, and shit. That was 14,000 excellent reasons to make the trip from Evansville.

At least I got drunk enough to not feel my feet.

Props to everyone. Good vibe and all that ruckus. I wish I had something more important or spectacular to write, but suffice it to say that I'm in my post-party zone out phase. You Louisville kids sure know how to wear me out! And I hardly even danced! :P

This was a kick ass party, definately worth the drive from Chicago. It was my first time in Kentucky and I had a great experience. Thanks Marea+Hushabye peoples for letting us crash at their house, you are very generous. Everyone threw down at the party...went crazy when I heard that remix of Windowlicker. Can't wait to come back

Lord. I don't know where to begin. Best hushabye ever. Chicago, St. Louis, Toledo, Cinci, Columbus, Dayton, Indy and Lex reppin HARD. The sound? Bows down to the bass gods (womenrespondtobass)...Nate thanks you so much for lending us your sound. Amazing! Brian, ben and Terry.. thank you for using your knowledge and skill to synthesize it into some of the best sound ever. James Blair thank you for your continued support, if only in spirit. It was, is and always will be a pleasure tohave worked with you in any quantity. I'm your fan.

How amazing were Kert, Terry, Ben and Nitro's sets? (special props to Terry and Ben-- I can't tell you how proud I am of you--BREAKTHROUGH!)

Lindz: you did it lady. Thank you for everything. You are number one. And see, I told you that you wouldn't have to be on the door all night. Also thank you for being a GREAT hall monitor at the Hushabye House-- pet pet pet.

Great to see so many great family faces there. I looked around the room going, "homie, homie, homie, homie, homie, homie, homie, homie, homie, homie, homie, homie, homie, homie, homie, homie, homie, homie, homie, homie, homie, homie, homie, homie, homie, homie, homie, homie, homie, homie, homie, homie, homie, homie, homie, homie, homie, homie, homie, homie, homie, homie, homie, homie, homie, homie, homie, homie, homie, homie, homie, homie..." from krack heads, to Lex-vegas pimps, to the restart comrades. GOOD GOD.
I'm bruised from hugs. Seriously.

OLI AND MENDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Happy fucking anniversary. We can't wait to party with you and your whole city for derby! Please tell Nick again how great it was to meet him and extend an invite back for Derby and anytime. Also, I think you're right Oli, we need a non-party visit from you guys to kick it, eat southern food and watch cable TV. We love you guys so much!

Ryan D: thanks for quitting your job for Hushabye. You are my homie.

Kert: Thanks for calling in for Hushabye and showing to drop the bomb.

Nate-FX: Lovely lady there with you. You two are cute and she likes to boogie no less. W00t. hollerback.

Gavin: glad to see you and Nitro together again. It made me really happy. Thank you for not puking on my floor, doctor! (pet pet pet pet)

And the good news is that we raised enough money to pay for Ricky's eye medication for a month, which is significant to say the least.

Extra special thanks to Chris Blocker for taking care of our door and just being one of the 30 good people that we could trust with our cash box. Love you so much. And also to Tim Vogel. You know why brother.

There are so many other people to thank that I will not be able to list them all. Hushabye was filled with 200 people that came through all the way. They showed that if we all work together and be kind to each other that somewhere, in one black room, in a discreet southern town... something very magic, fleeting and special can happen. We should not take it for granted. I love you guys. Honestly...

I had a great time!! The music was awesome. Marea and Lindz, you ladies are the bomb! We love you guys so much!!(I personally made Bobby and Leslie feel horrible for not coming!!) Ryan my ass hurts still where you decided to punch me at random times throughout the night.. but i guess i deserve it. :p Decibel it was lovely to hang out with you. Its always great to meet people that share the same love. Louisville I can't wait to do it again!!

Hmm, great event overall. Awesome sound, a kick ass vibe, talented dj's, nice venue. I couldn't have asked for more. I wish I wasn't feeling so ill and tired there so I could have enjoyed myself a little more though. :( Regardless I still had a great time and a night to remember. I'm definitely looking forward to the next one. Holler.

you didn't need proof...we posted that it was in ky. 8) i love that shirt though.

what else about the picture would have told someone looking at the picture for the first time that it was in kentucky? mmm hmm.

and since i am from indiana, and mentalities are similar to kentucky, i didn't want to single out your state in my post. Pardon my manners.

:p
