why is it that I have to be hundreds of miles away on this particular weekend?!?! I guess all I can do is wait for the next hushabye event . . . anybody have any idea how long Ill have to wait?

the first event i ever went to when i first moved to l-ville was a hushabye party...im verry glad to be able to say that really...i didnt know anyone in the city really...but at hushabye i didnt have to..people made me feel verry welcome and loved....hushabye parties are not your average party..its more like a big family get together in a way..it has that kind of feel....if youve been invited..i suggest you dont miss the event

I firmly believe this is the way it should be... Them hushabiers are a very hospitable crew; they do tha music proud, they do!

The music is all about creation, not destruction. Music provides us with warmth and cold, light and darkness, euphony and cacaphony. It calms us, energizes us, seduces us and excites us. The beat doesn't judge the feet that are slamming against the floorboards or the feet tapping idly along with it. It exemplifies a perfect state of being where we can all do our own thing and where we can all do our own thing together. I think the Hushabye crew knows this, and they certainly know how to spread the love of the bass, the mids, and the treble.

That's why it's so fucking important I make it to this event. :P

Lindz, this summer you should consider making a trip to Nashville to visit the Pancake Pantry. Seriously. If ever a supreme being/diety were to take the form of food, it would be the pancakes from this place.

Almost. So very almost. :P I even did laundry so I can look spiffy for this one. And I bought new shoes for dancing. x) Hooray tax refunds.

Think about it like this: you have to get through today, then there's just tomorrow, and then friday, and /then/ it's party time!
