Kratom - First Time - OMG. I hate Kratom.

Second the phenibut thing... A poster in another thread (was it you Xorkoth?) suggested plugging it, which I have found quite effective as well.

I recently tried whole leaf kratom after a few months of using the extracts, and I was severely disappointed. For one thing, it took a crazy amount of leaf for me to get good effects, like 20g-25g. For another, it seemed that the annoying side effects (nausea and dizziness) increased far more in proportion to the good ones. The nausea may have been partly due to having to actually drink the stuff rather than just swallow some gelcaps. In the future I think I will stick to 15x extract.

It was me, yes =D

The extracts are fine and all, I just found them to be huge rip-offs. And as I mentioned the full spectrum of effects does not come out. However, I've not used them much, just dabbled really. The whole leaf is what I use, and have for years.

To each his own...

Hey, do you know why plugging kratom tea doesn't work? Plugging poppy tea works just fine, but kratom seems to do nothing, or almost nothing, in the "wrong" hole. Very strange.

Now, I can see in retrospect if how I had taken this and simply layed down I would have been okay.. maybe nodding a bit and feeling ok. But the primary effect was the old freezing of the entire GI tract.. nothing digestable, everything returning as issued, etc.
Sounds like one of the first times I used commercial-grade kratom... I OD'ed and was incredibly sick/nauseated for six hours. My stomach and intestines were just locked up, like a CPU that hit a bad instruction. Toward the end was the worst, and I found myself praying for death the final half hour. Then it *suddenly* subsided around the six hour point, which was really quite bizarre.

I've gone on to use/enjoy kratom, even get addicted to it on & off. Wonderful stuff, but your body has a break-in period with it, just like with many other drugs. Also, it has a sort of hard cutoff dose, at which point you will get ill instead of high... that point probably varies depending on the person and (particularly) other substances you may have taken.
