Kids are smoking Smarties and pixy styx to get a fix...

lol this is a pretty funny story... I remember when I was in middle school (in the 90's) and kids would joke/talk about other kids snorting pixie sticks or w/e... Even back then I remember thinking to myself "Are these kids really this dumb to think they will actually get effects out of this practice or just think they look cool imitating illegal drug behavior??"

ah the 90's... when music was still good.

LMAO, I remember those bubble gum cigs. I was at Sunday school once & had a few & the priest thought they were pretty cool. He asked me for one. What the heck is going on now a days with schools banning everything.

Like this is a new thing? I remember snorting crushed up aspirins & nesquik powder when I was a kid. prob just coz we wanted to be rock & roll.
TBH I don't think a candyban will kill the ideoligy thats clearly already in these kids heads. In fact I doubt the candy itself's really the source of the druggy behaviour, so how will banning it help? Surely authority pushing like this will only make kids push back harder... and perhaps get some proper dope, since there'll be no smarties around.
 
Now that Smarties and their active chemicals have been banned from schools, the Chinese have begun marketing SmRteeZ (not for human consumption)
 
Seriously, this kind of just pisses me off. I've heard of kids snorting pixy stix just to be stupid and immature and young, but wtf smoking them? And what makes me even more mad is that it's happening three counties away from me. Stupid kids make Michigan look bad, and better yet, themselves too. Looks like we can see where our future generations are headed, and it sure isn't going to be toward a good education and being able to support us folk when we get old and have to collect Social Security lol. Eh, I'm not really mad, but it just makes me wonder wtf these kids are honestly thinking and how do they not realize that smoking candy is absolutely retarded?

i don't think they really "smoke" the Smarties. there is no lighter involved lmfao...i can do this trick... you just crush them up inside the wrapper and bring the powder into your mouth....i remember i learned this a couple years back in highschool, we all thought we were soo badass hahahaha, i think this fad sort of fadded after a week...but i never lit anything on fire hahah there was no smoke
