Hi, Rather new to blue light.. But anyways.. I was addicted to Opiates for a good 6 months.. Took 2 trys to quit.. Just going on a week of being Opiate free.
Questions are is it possible to wait a few weeks or months and use them say limit myself to once or twice a week as I know the effects of addiction.
Also tolerance. I used everyday for 6-8 months taking up to 500-700mgs a day and up to 3000mcg's of fentayl thingys that disolve in your mouth.. I enjoyed playing call fo duty and letting them fizz in my mouth and nod out. Haha.
Also anyone whom needs advice or help for quiting. I did cold turkey 500mgs a day to ZERO.. Gf helped i flailed around in my bed for 3 days feeling like death.. took a drive and now after 6 days im fine and just kinda miss it.. I just don't want it running my life.
Thanks in advance!

I was addicted to pills (a nothing addiction compared to yours) for like 3 years, would take about 5 Percocet 7.5s per day, just a nice little shine going all day for 3 years.
I quit probably 4 years ago, and have had access here and there (i had been stealing them from my mom and ended up telling her, then kicking myself). I no longer live at home and i'll go 5-6 months without fiending too much, maybe if i'm hungover or really tired or whatever my mind will start to wander. Like clockwork though i'll have a dope dream about pills like once every 6 months and i'll straight fiend for a week.
Retarded i know, wee little habit, 5 percs a day...
Now because i don't live at home i really don't have any way of getting them, i'm not gonna call old non-drug using acquaintances and ask them if they've had a back injury, or go rob a pharmacy or...hell i don't even know how i'd get them (luckily).
To me, that right there would be effectively ruining my life...fiending so bad that i randomly start calling people i haven't spoken to in years to ask for a hook up. Everyone i know would label me a crackhead and they'd still smile and say hi but really they'd have such a different opinion of me. Even if not, suddenly my WHOLE LIFE is revolving around keeping up a piddly little drug habit that i was fine before, and can be fine again after.
Now think of your situation. You were using HOW MUCH OXY? I don't want to know what you had to do to get that much, but know this: whatever it was, it's not sustainable. How long could you keep that up before you'd have to start pawning/stealing your way to get a 'wellness dose' just so you wouldn't puke and shit all over yourself and feel like someone cracked every bone in your body and is slurping the marrow out with a silly straw?
Seriously, try to map it out in your head: 6 Oxy 80s per day give or take...what amount of cash would you need to keep that up, now you burn through that, what's next the flat screen? Then? And then? Now map out the social cost, you're probably not working if you're railing a mini-mountain of Oxy a day, eventually your girl will probably leave you, once you borrow from everyone you know you'll alienate those people and they probably won't want anything to do with you. The list goes on...
And eventually you use up every available bit of capital there is, and you're certain you won't fix for days/weeks/a month and so you're left with a nothing but a Superhuman tolerance for Oxy, no job, friends, or family to really speak of, and a quickly fading memory of what being high on Oxy was like for 1, 2, 3, 9 months. That's what you have left, a Superhuman tolerance for Oxy, and some foggy memories.
Maybe that sounds a little hardcore but can it be that far off?
