I could imagine that using parenteral ROA would be the way to go, because it might hydrolyse fast in the stomach and since the morphinane (correct terminology?) will have the acid function upon hydrolysis, it will be much more polar than morphine so bioavailability might me poor. but getting the reverse ester into the brain fast before ester hydrolysis might be an interesting proposal?Would 'TASTY' (reverse ester diamorphine) work? This has been done with methylphenidate at least.
Always interested in dextro opioids too but my chem knowledge needs some boost before I'll post here..
