Ketamine salts solubility

Really I would like to try the p-tolyl analogue but this would be cool to try as well.
 
Didn't Shulgin make many examples with a beta methoxy? A beta methyl, yes, their are stimulants that are isobutyls, but you end up with twice as many chiral centres so half the potency unless you resolve them - an no paper & patent resolves them.
 
Yes BOD and BOB aka beta methoxy 2cd and beta methoxy 2cb.

I've had BOD a few times.

I liked it. It has similarities to 2cd and there is something mescaline like about it too.

it fully lasts 4x longer than 2c-d.

DMBMPP (Nichols et al) proves that the benzylpiperidine scaffold allows sufficient space for ring-substitution. I don't know if p-Me methylphenmidate is any good, but it provides a great insight. The phenmetrazine and aminorex scaffolds do not have that space. You can place a small, single substituent m/p but they don't offer the same potential.

3,4-MD benzylpiperidine could be interesting..... 3,4-MD phenmetrazine was inactive, 3,4-MD aminorex was inactive... but the PEAs are done to death. Oh, and if people really NEED an alternative, sec-butyl homologues of the PEAs were made & tested.

Of course, 2 chiral centres, but then again, if you place a methyl ether at the beta then you ALSO have 2 chiral centres.

I'm a little surprised about 3,4-MD aminorex but not to much. Aminorex is a bit more like pea and 4-MAR like amphetamine. 3,4--MDMAR is supposed to be a fairly potent triple releasing agent.
