Ketamine at work?

OK SERIOUSLY. If you are dumb enough to take ketamine at work then dont bother even working at all.
One time I was partying with some k and had to go to a family party. I arrived to the party about an hour since my last line. The whole time I was there people were accusing me of being high on something. I legit was only taking ketamine all day long. Dont do ketamine in public. Do it at a safe and relaxing environment. Definitely have yourself a place to fall into a K hole if it happens

Ya. K at work sounds like a bad idea. Drugs at work are one thing. It's another thing to take a drug whose main effect is to dissociate yourself and make you walk funny.

rubbish. theyre band because in competition sports it may give you an unfair advantage.
do you think in a 24 hour motorsport race for example, that the use of say, amphetamines is banned because of the long term health risks? phhhht.
Then why allow the latest running shoes, training techniques, altitude training, special diets, close fitting jersey to prevent tackling, vitamins and other supplements? Level training field is only relative. They didnt give two shits about performance enhancing drugs until the late 70's when eastern European olympic champions and the pittsburg steelers started dropping like flies before the age of 45.

rubbish. im a music producer, and the kind of drugs i do are obviously tailored to the nature of my work. they give me motivation, focus, and help me work creatively.

Lol "job"

have you ever drunk a coffee to wake you up before work????

i take drugs before work occasionally.
they improve my performance and therefore make me a better worker. why do you think they are banned from sports?
i carefully select the correct substance to use at work in order to be the best i can at my job.
and i am extremely successful.
therefore i take drugs to be more professional.
so fuck off.

Oh yeah, because a cup of coffee is the same as doing a line of ketamine.

So if someone takes meth everyday because it boosts his performance its ok and ain't in anyway some sort of abuse.
Its abuse, face it.

Your argument could'nt be more invalid. Christ, comparing ketamine with coffee, gtfo.

Coffee is a very, very different and milder beast than Ketamine. Coffee can effectively be used as a crutch to just stay awake or get through a day at work because of its mild stimulant properties, but that's about it.

But I think there's something to be said for the fact that if you rely on very active drugs (such as classic stimulants like amphetamine, etc) to get through your work, that's not really a viable life trajectory. If you can't handle your job without the use of performance enhancing drugs, you might need to get another job. Because those drugs invariably end up producing tolerance and become less effective and pragmatic to use in such a way over time.

im not comparing ket with coffee.
i was responding to the post above.

My point was that some drugs, if they are selected appropriately, are more acceptable than others, and could be used in order to enhance performance.

im not recommending people do it, merely stating that some drugs can be used for enhancing performance. the clue is in the title there.

Personally i use certain drugs which enhance my ability to focus, improve motivation and creativity and allow me to work to deadlines to great success.
ketamine however, would not be personally of any benefit.
i am im self employed, own a record label, and a company with studios in asia and europe (not a "proper" job apparently, according to our resident dentist busty st. clare. pffffft) thus i choose substances that suit the nature of my work. that is all i was trying to express.

anyway were getting off topic so its the last time i get sucked in to arguing on a web forum. i have better things to do.

I think we could all save a lot of time and effort if we all actually READ the thread.

the point is, drugs at work are subjective.
for some artists or musicians, perhaps a small bump of k would work i dunno.
everybody will have a different view as they have different jobs and respond to different chemicals differently.

phew.

I didn't say it wasn't a proper job simply scoffing at you suggesting ketamine would be a productive drug to use. Would you allow one of your artist to perform in front of a live audience under the influence of ketamine?

I used to do ketamine in the bathroom before my film class at 10:00AM

Oh Eisenstein....
Oh Eisenstein....
Oh Eisenstein....
Oh...

Then the teacher asks me why I have such a big grin on my face.

Fuck...
