for cocaine I would get faded drunk then pop a bennie then sniff ONE line then pop another bennie.
For how spot-on and responsible your post was, this is absolute horrid advice. Benzos and alcohol are very, VERY bad in any amount, and you're saying to actually get
drunk first, then start popping benzos and sniffing coke?! And then take even more benzos??? Dude...that will kill you with a quickness especially if you have no tolerance to anything as you seem to suggest. And why the benzos? Didn't you just say:
don't look to take bennies as they are not recreational no matter how many times your favourite rapper mentioned xanax
Just be careful man, and be extra careful when offering advice to someone like the OP.
Regarding the question, the first part of PotatoMan's post is fairly accurate. Basically, as soon as you take a drug outside of a recreational setting, you're risking the other side. Keep them recreational by keeping them recreational, simple as that. I didn't start smoking pot outside of weekend-nights until I started smoking in the day time and going about my day high. Same with kratom and other opiates in general, I took them and went to work once. Never looked back.
Put it this way, your recreational, fun times are usually always different, they change rapidly, and most of the time don't come with a strict plan, schedule or expected outcome other than "lets have fun". If you add drugs to the mix, all you're doing is enhancing your fun or adding a new way to have fun. Your normal life, though, is most likely routine, you go to work, you go to school, you come home at a certain time every day, you leave at the same time every day, go to bed, eat dinner, see your housemates, your neighbors, coworkers, all these same stuff, same time, every day....and let's face it, most of it is boring, tedious, undesirable anyway. At least when you're out having fun, you're still having fun, drugs or not. Work will always be WORK. Now if you add a drug to your routine one day, you're going to upset this routine and now you have this one day that suddenly stands out over every other day as being particularly better than the others. Now, each time you go through your routine, which is daily, you'll be reminded of how much better the day
could be like that one, awesome Tuesday when you popped a percocet before your shift. Simply knowing how something effects you in a recreational setting, like coke, does not indicate how it will affect your normal, sober routine, it's quite different and far more alluring.
TL:DR - Don't do it outside of your recreational settings. Keep them recreational by keeping them recreational.
