Hi Lone!
I too got switched to dextroamphetamine after being on another stimulant (MPH IR) for many years. It almost seemed like I'd built up a tolerance, although I've been told that's "very rare and abnormal" blah.
I was prescribed the ER spansules. I was pretty excited
First day I felt jittery ....after that, they either had no effect whatsoever, or they actually made me SLEEPY! Ended up switching back to ritalin
The break did seem to do a little bit of good in that area though.
I haven't read this thread, just your post...but I'm sure you will find I am in the minority here... most people have great results with this drug. Just wish I had been 1 of them
Best of luck, Lone, and congratulations on completing a year of rehab...no small feat, IMO.
