Just found a health risks with lightbulb vapes

I used to use a light bulb vape....but it just seemed unhealthy so i bought a vape genie, that thing is awesome

you would also pass up getting really high too. not a p.o.s. they work very well and you can make it look nice too.
 
yea like someone mentioned you dont even really need to use a cap, plug it with your finger if you want to but i find you dont even really need to do that cause the lightbulbs shape just naturally holds the vapors in, then inhale with a tube
 
Light bulb vapes are very dirty shit. I'm too lazy to look it up right now because its fucken late, but we've discussed the matter here before and apparently the insides of those bulbs are loaded with industrial contaminants that you don't want to be smoking.
 
Just like plastic bottle bongs, a light bulb vape is still not going to be good for you.

well i can see that with white bulbs, but they can be cleaned out. and i can see how that may be true with fluorescent bulbs - as they have mercury which cant be cleaned.

idk, is there some other chemical in them that i cant see? ive looked online in many places, and cant find anything that says theyre harmful after theyve been cleaned with salt/alcohol/hot soap and water.
 
I used an empty poppers bottle last night and gave this a go, very impressed...

Hope I didn't inhale any left over poppers 8o =D

So yeah, my lightbulb vape has no melted spots on it what-so-ever. I've never heard of it, TBH.

open it up, look under the cap. look at the straw.

oh wasn't really aiming for wit, just thought it would get you to stfu - didn't work obviously, but it was worth a shot.

I laughed at 9/11, and I live in NY. Fucking 4chan.

Back on topic, I don't see a health risk in smoking a lightbulb vape anymore than smoking out of a tinfoil bowl or soda can. We did/do it, it wasn't/isn't good for us, but in small doses it won't kill you. srsly.
 
do you know any other ways of creating a vap without a light bulb? or buying one on the internet. saw one on youtube that had a bottle and one of those iron stick things that heat up (forgot what is was called), but it looked pretty cool

nope, plastic releases fumes (most common plastics do anyway) when they are changing states

if its getting soft chances are you are taking on some fumage

i guess if one chooses to use a light bulb vape, then to not use a plastic straw/top if they are looking for the safest method.

P.S. Mine is oblong, as well as just plain long, the top never gets hot enough to melt. So I can be a hypocrite. <3

releasing fumes only happens when the Vaporization point of the polymer is met. thats what fumes are, plastic that has increased its energy level to become a gas.
if the plastic is heated to become malleable but not vaporize how are fumes released? sounds like bullshit to me.
do you have some sources or is it just your ass?

anyways its fucking dumb to put 2 straws in the vape, when just a vent hole and a mouth peice straw would work just fine. just seems like more chance for meltage and fumage.
