John Simpson has outed another. In some ways this is just as bad as Savile.
Simpson hasn't named him but has given enough clues to show it is Derek McCulloch. This guy was Head of Children's Hour, which in those days was equivalent to being BBC Head of Children's programming. They had competitions every week that provided a never ending line of 'winners' for McCulloch to abuse. If anyone complained to the BBC the reply was along the lines of "you can't ruin a national treasure".
The BBC were perfectly aware what was going on. When Simpson tried to expose McCulloch in a biography of him he was told by the BBC to stop being an idiot and praise the man.
McCulloch died in 1967. It's almost like Savile took his 'role' as sanctioned by BBC bosses.
If you think hard about this it begins to look almost like....what it looks like. Very, very bad.

Maybe they don't bother to challenge these claims because a good many of his claims on other matters have been ludicrous, paranoid and blatantly untrue? The 'Turquoise Period' merely being the most infamous?
As for 'Satanism', what exactly do you mean by that? LaVeyan Satanism, which (for all its silly pomposity, ideological murkiness and outright ridiculousness) is the preserve of a handful of teenagers and a couple of LA porn stars for the most part? Or another kind of Satanism?
Satan is a medieval Christian invention. The name derives from 'Shaitan' - Hebrew for 'the adversary', and was never identified with a single individual, let alone 'The Devil'.
Icke actually touches upon some truths (albeit mostly arrived at by others and presented far more credibly) and (on occasion) displays a not-inconsiderable insight, but he's surrounded by crackpot antisemites attempting to use him to promote their own agenda. Not very nice people at all.
I agree that there is a control structure - anyone who doesn't believe so is as silly as the most ardent conspiracy theorist.
I have to ask, though, how have you arrived at the conclusion that Jimmy's abuse was in any way 'ritualistic' and not just merely opportunistic?

The whole control system is abusive and degrading, and acts like this reflect that fact, as do acts of violence and oppression of every kind. That's not the work of some cabal though, or even a network of them. It's a direct result of the fact that we insist on perpetuating a socioeconomic framework that stands directly in the way of human spiritual and emotional evolution and instead fosters and nurtures the least desirable and most destructive aspects of our simian genetic heritage.
Don't try and pin the blame on some imaginary demon created to scare peasant farmers into paying their tithes though, please. That just leads us on a wild goose chase that solves nothing. Meanwhile, things like this happen and we're too busy searching for a phantom with horns.

And this, everybody, is the whole problem. Society doesn't take rape seriously enough. It's always something that happens to Other People. So it's safe to chuck around idle threats because you're never going to come near an actual real live rapist, and it's OK to make jokes about because it's never happened to you and so it's absurdly improbable that it ever really happens to anyone in real life.
And while everybody is busy thinking like that, rapists are getting away with it.
