Cocaine IV Cocaine - I guess I achieved the Bell ringer? I thought I was about to die. Literally.

Ive had all of this from boofing 1/2 g foolishly. This is one of my favorite threads to describe the overdose experience. There is an oh shit moment when you have no control over what you see in your reality, some things are the same and some things are unbelievably terrifying/strange/unrecognizeable, and oftentimes moving around in a way that makes you think they are after you. You realize that you are suddenly out of control of your brain and mind and ability to calm yourself down while you experience whatever absurd nonsensical and highly terrifying hallucinations the experience forces your brain to see. I have wandered for hours and hours outside in complete terror. The shaking only happened once, first time I overdosed boofing, I started shaking all over. Literally every part of my body was uncontrollably shaking and I had no idea what to do. Just rode it out for around an hour and then came to and breathed shaky breaths for a while longer then was ready for more. Sorry to interrupt the thread with a different ROA but I find it fascinating how the peak of the drug becomes complete insanity after the briefest bit of pleasure, but then you come back ready for more torture. There's something appealing about losing and regaining control so dramatically IMO. But I obviously can't relate entirely since shooting is different.

Yeah if we call it the shakes it sounds less dangerous. I find it interesting that there isnt more about the shakes as a medical episode but it seems localized to IV cocaine users. An IV coke od has symptoms of both seizures and strokes, it doesn’t clearly seem like one or the other. More like a momentary seizure or loss of motor function caused by rapidly induced vasoconstriction/stroke. Would like to know whether it’s mechanical, chemical, or electrical. I’ve started to work kpins and cialis into preparing for an all nighter, I feel like that covers my bases for reducing the risk of catching the shakes.
My first od had those legs and arms moving uncontrollably, I had shot up in a small bathroom (somewhat hygienically with preloaded ET u-100 syringes filled to 40 units and carried inside a mini m&m tube) anyways… I found that if I pressed one of my extremities against a wall or tub or whatever, they would settle considerably. Maybe this is due to breaking some kinda feedback loop from a heavy take. Was so convinced my girlfriend would hear me thrashing around like the bathtub toaster scene in Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas.
Haven’t had the shakes that bad since.
Also haven’t had coke that good since.



This. For whatever reason we think it’s okay, and load another. So many people on this site have likely been halfway through a fat shot and started to feel the weight while getting a reregister, then just banged the rest in one push before their hand starts to tremble. Kinda like that last hit of dmt before you “get there” but you’re already gone.
Did that trusty crusty little vein ever burst?

I am absolutely fascinated as well now by these episodes. My little vein did break shortly after that. But it's not totally collapsed yet. I use it, it breaks, it heals and the cycle starts again. It is one of my go-tos atm.

What's interesting about a coke OD (the ones that don't kill you or paralyze you) is how fucking scary yet pleasurable they are. My first was IV where interestingly I started sneezing uncontrollably and then you know what's next. My second was when I was smoking cocaine out of a bong and the brillo slid down the whole slide, vaporizing a couple days worth of resin. I remember looking around and thinking about how messy my place was, and this is where they're going to find me. It's real spooky shit.

The idea of smoking this out of a bong seems crazy at this point but I really get what you mean by “this is where they’re going to find me.” Had another episode tonight but I swear I knew it was coming, the first few shots were incredible and then I just took it too far. Have been getting better at spacing out doses and binging less but still got a long way to go.
Told myself and others that if I can’t get control of this I’ll have to give it up. Successfully learned to moderate benzos and drinking but this is another animal.
Lets all be thankful there’s no physical dependence associated with banging soft.

I feel like IV cocaine is not necessarily unique, but at the very top of the list of drugs where IV is just a different animal specifically to drug effects, not just duration and onset.

I can do two 0,1g lines of some really high-end coke, one for each nostril, and feel no to mild discomfort (and also no to disappointing effects). Shoot up 50mg of the same shit and you'll be wondering if that was the last mistake you'll ever make. Bioavailability does not account for even half of this.
