So A friend of mine took some isoflurane from his work, gave it to me to try.
(its an anestesia agent for inhalation for anyone who doesnt know, its widely used in human and vetrinary medicine...its not like I'm huffing airplane glue or something)
So I decided to try it with my GF.
We grab a plastic bag, and pour maybe 1-2 ml into in, and huff. (yeah yeah..its pretty ghetto, I know) At first its a bit pungent and kind of stings the nose. But its not too bad.
Within 20 seconds, I start feeling very light headed, and this sort of vibrating buzzzzzz feeling...sort of like nitrous. At this point I lay down. I no longer have any idea of the passage of time, temperture of the room, lighting, anything, so the rest of the trip report here is based on my feelings internally, as I cant tell you exact times and physiologic effects ect, I was too high to keep track of that earthly stuff.
It keeps coming on stronger, the buzzing feeling gets more overwhelming, and I feel very odd. My whole body feels like its floating or weightless, and I feel very "long" like I've been streched out like a ribbon. Its not unlike the body distortions from ketamine or PCP.
Speaking of which, I feel "k-holed" as well. I am unable or unwilling to move, and I am having all kinds of weird trippy thoughs and getting "brain movies" none of them where profound in anyway, but all where entaining and covered many subjects from my childhood to feeling like I was in bulk barn buying bulk cheeto's and sour watermellon slices.
After this "phase" of the drug wore off, I then felt complete and utter peace...everything was calm and still. Just the white noise/humming sound and the feeling of floating. Its had to discribe the feeling. Just...nothingness and yet everything at once. Like I was connected to the entire universe, and yet isolated from it at the same time.
Very neat feeling.
Its not the best trip report, but I tried my best there, as its very strong and causes a good amount of amnesia and impairment (duh...its an anestetic) so I wrote out what I remeber best.
I plan to revisit this substance again...I'd love to try it mixed with nitrous! Its an amazing feeling, its sort of like nitrous and ketamine mixed together. It has a very distinct dissassotive effect and distinct sedative effects.
I noticed no ill effects after, it gradually wears off, and about 30 mintues aftering coming back to reality, its 100% gone.
