is there anything you ALWAYS WANTED TO KNOW?

^ Exactly. I just asked my boyfriend and his mate, who were watching footy (and belive me, it takes a great deal to divert their attention away from footy)...

If, for example, you were using the HANDLE of the spoon to poke someone directly in the eye, you could concievably kill them within seconds.

But, if, say you were using a small teaspoon and trying to poke them through the chest, I'd leave a large part of the day free (perhaps even give up watching Big Brother) because it aint gonna happen all that quickly.

Well, stabbing them through the eye would kill them in seconds, very quickly indeed.
Which takes the fun out of stabbing someone with a blunt spoon in the first place. Imagine the spoon was a standard sized spoon - One you would use for eating soup with, a 'dinner' spoon or whatever it is killed [I mean 'called' -- That was not intended to be "killed", I typed it though].
And that you were stabbing through the chest.

as an additional question, why are there pillows to rest the head in coffins? it's not like the dead need comfort...

I'm going to estimate several hours. Your best bet might be breaking ribs to rupture a lung, but you'd probably hurt your hand too much before that happened. Dear god I can't believe I actually thought about this........ 8o
 
Say you have an electrical appliance such as a digital clock radio, or a frigde, toaster etc....If this device was turn on plugged into the power point. If you cut the cord using a tree pruner...will you get an electrical shock and how severe? Also I read somewhere if you are standing off the ground you wont get a shock but this on is false i guess!
 
this question came up at a psytrance "prelude to a doof" and some of our party wanted to kill ourselves because of the music...

what is the most painless way to commit suicide (without the intervention of any third parties, purposely or otherwise)?
 
bullet to the head
make sure its a big one too, you dont want some pansy .22 that just scrambles half of your brains

IVing potassium to stop your heart would be kinda painful i should think, but it'd be pretty quick.

anything that gets you comatose and then depresses your breathing would probably be good too. Try the H-train
