is there anything you ALWAYS WANTED TO KNOW?

^^
Maybe your housemate and his friends are actually school girls and retarded monkeys. You just haven't noticed. The noises combine such that your perception of them is distorted as it annoys you so much - you can't think clearly enough to see that you've been living with school girls and monkeys all along. 8o :| .

^^^ wind would be the majour influence on its movement in the air (unless it hit something) othet influences would be the spiraling action of the bullet, the type of bullet, its deformations, its vibration, clenlines of the barrel of the gun, uneven bullet weight, uneven chamber explosion.. it goes on...

but if u had a perfect gun with a perfect bullet in a perfect atmosphere with gravity being exactly down and the bullet being fired directly up then it would come back given enough time

Well unless you can get the bullet going very very fast, then yes it will come back down to earth. Not necessarily where your standing, but somewhere. It's pretty common for someone minding their own business to cop a stray bullet from one of those middle eastern parties where there fire bullets into the air!
And you though it was a bit of bad luck when you stepped in a dog turd.

But if by some strange freak of nature you could fire the bullet very fast (The speed escapes me right now, though if you really want me to work it out I could) then it could escape the earths gravity and fly off into space, or atleast into orbit. But it would have to be very fast.

When you have a cold/flu and then the doctor gives you antibotics to take, why is it important to finish the course of antibiotics rather than just stop when half way when your cold is gone?

Antibiotics

Antibiotics are medicines designed to treat bacterial infections. Since sinusitis is a condition where the sinuses may be infected, antibiotics are an important component of your therapy. Your doctor’s choice of antibiotic may be based on the bacteria that can be identified from a sample of pus taken from your nose or sinuses (i.e., a culture). However, it is often not necessary, or possible, to obtain an adequate culture. In many cases, therefore, your physician may prescribe an antibiotic for you based on what bacteria are most likely to be causing the infection. Sometimes more than one antibiotic will be prescribed to increase the likelihood of completely eliminating an infection. All antibiotics do not penetrate into the bone very well. Because the penetration of the antibiotic inside the sinuses can be limited, an extended treatment is often necessary.

Dosing
You should always take your antibiotic exactly as prescribed. Always complete the entire course of antibiotic, even if you start feeling better before you are due to finish. By failing to complete the entire course of your treatment, you may be increasing the number of resistant bacteria. This could make further antibiotic therapy ineffective.

One thing that occured to me that I want answered. Why the hell do I have soooooo much static electricity? I always get sparked heaps when I touch metal doors (on carpeted surfaces) at work yet no one (at least 6 others who work with me) get any sort of spark/zap at all. It's so bad I have to carry things with me so I don't actually make contact with the door when I open it. I've worn a few pairs of shoes and stuff and it always happens plus some workmates wear smilar shoes + clothes and don't get zapped. I really want to know why now this happens to me!

You have to take the whole course of antibiotics to ensure you have completely killed off the organism that is causing the disease. If you dont continue the course but finish 'once the effects are gone', there is a possibility that there will be some of the microbes left that have come in contact with the antibiotic and can develop a resistance to it. If people continue not taking their full course of antibiotics there will be more and more resisitant strains of bacteria that become 'superbacteria' and are resistant to the anitbiotics we have to fight them.

The doctors dont tell you to take the whole course just so you have to suffer the immense pain of having to remember to take the little pills/capsules each day. Its for good reason.

Possibly you are wearing more synthetics or it may have to do with the amount of body hair you have.

How do those fule pump nozzles know when the tank is full and to stop poumpin fuel?

they have an electronic sensor which signals when it comes in contact with a liquid by sensing when a circuit is completethis is why it goes off when the tank is full, when the bubbles from the tank getting filled touch it, and also why it goes off randomly when the pump nozzle is wet from rain

Phft crap! It works on an air pressure valve in the handle. When there is high pressure, such as when your tank is full and not a lot of space in the top of the tank the valve flips and the flow cuts off. That is why even if you tank is empty, if you have an old style of fuel tank and the angle you insert the nozzle blocks of the air escaping, the flow cuts off. Newer cars have separate vents to prevent this from happening.

Secondly, don't you think it's a BAD idea to have a metal conductor in the nozzle with a current flowing through it? Bad as in...kaboom? Thirdly, petrol isn't an electrical conductor. Fourthly, how does this "sensor" tell the difference between petrol coming out of the nozzle and petrol supposedly filling up the tank?

yeh i thought bout the conductive bit causing a spark.... but then why does the pump cut out a bunch of times when its a bit wet from the rain... its happened to me on various cars including new ones

yeh there is something actually... asian girls with dead straight hair, what r their pubes like? straight or curly? i've spent hours on the internet before looking at porn sites in the name of research ;) but none of those girls have pubes so i'm still left wondering.

i presume it would be the same as any other person who has dead straight hair 8) .

i think it has something to do with the size of the pore that the hair grows out of., apparently pubid hair grows out of small pores, and that's what causes it to grow curly, something like that anyway.

why do your eyes move when youre dreaming but the rest of your body is paralysed unless theres something wrong in your serotonin/melotonin system?

Astrosmurf, the pubic hair is almost flatter and "tape like", unlike the cylindrical hair on your head, but the pube has to come out of normal round pore. As it grows out, its similar in effect to curling a ribbon on a birthday present, by running the ribbon between your thumb and scissors.
As my namesake implies, I am the Pubeman

That's not entirely true as any shocking dream will force you to move. It actually has to do with the R.E.M's formulating part of the dram, without the eye movement there would be no dreaming, it's like a natural acid trip...

The fact that the nozzle is wet from the rain doesn't come into it, it's just the escaping air pressure from the tank. If you have a car with one of the older style tanks, you'll notice that regardless of the weather, unless you get the angle of entry correct (insert grotty joke), the valve will keep cutting off the flow.

And the curly hair thing as far as pubes go, the hair folicles for pubes are different from your head, they're flatter compared to the round folicles on your head and this causes the hair to come out as was said "tape like", this causes the curling.

In regards to pubes , I'd like to know as you get older. Do you pubes go grey as well? If so, do they go before your head hair goes grey? And if you're a balding man, do you pubes also fall out?
