is there anything you ALWAYS WANTED TO KNOW?

No, ellipses are formally used to indicate an incomplete sentence (kinda like trailing off before one has made their point) but more often than not, people tend to use them as a device indicating a rhetorical statement.

I also use them as a pause, or for timing something so it reads the way i thought it.

Fuck you motherbitches.

Fuck YOU mother..... bitchis!

(i apologise for unintended offence cause by reading this post).

In my case, I know it's wrong, but I just like to do it...

So fuck you!

You are lostpunk so you can do whatever you want IMO..................................................................its all good.

Another thing.........why the hell are they called ellipses? They are not elliptical, they are dots for gods sake! :X
ARGH

BOO to ellipses and those who bow before them :X

Is wealth created or simply redistributed?
If you and I get rich (by trading on the stock market, for instance), do others (in the third world, say) get poorer?
I've wanted to know this for a long time.
Cheers.

^^ I don't think that rule applies to money.

Someone else won't neccessarily get poorer, they just wouldn't get as much. It makes sense to me..... *

Like, just say me and onthemend go into the lemonaide business. We sell $100 of lemonaide to people that buy lemonaide every week of their lives. Now who is getting poorer? Definatley not the people that are buying their lemonaide from us, that would usually by from somewhere else every week, and the other lemonaide companies aren't losing any money either, they are still making a profit.

Money makes money.

EDit: Actually, my brain just exploded and I've contradicted myself about 12 times. Good question.

Wealth would have to have been created originally.

There's so much more money now than there would have been say in 1823. Inflation can't count for all of that.

It's all bullshit anyways...

Anyway that's a large part of what economics is -- people arbitrarily, or as a matter of taste, assigning numerical values to non-numerical things. And then pretending that they haven't just made the numbers up, which they have. Economics is like astrology in that sense, except that economics serves to justify the current power structure, and so it has a lot of fervent believers among the powerful.

^^ he already has a large cult following on the internet who call him !(square) because they are geeks and do that sort of thing.

why is it that the more sleep I get the crappier/more tired I look when I wake up in the morning?!! Sure I've been going to bed a bit late lately (from 11pm to round 12:30) but I've been sleeping in a lot later (like till 8am) since it's "study break" I used to go to bed round 10:30pm and get up at 4:45am for swimming (which I gotta start donig again...) and didn't look this wrecked!
So sad it's like 21st is over the hill now.....I'm aging haha :`````(
maybe my body is used to sleep deprivation- this additional sleep has shocked the system??

^^ I heard a long time ago, every hour of sleep you get before 12 o'clock is worth double of those hours after 12. I'm not sure how or why this works, but it seems to make sense to me (once again, hehee) If I sleep 10 hours from say 9pm, then I'd feel better than if I'd slept for 10 hours from 1am. Maybe its just our bodies saying "get to bed earlier!!" ;)

Weird.
