is DOI similar to DOC?

I am curious about taking DOI with a friend and I was curious if DOI has any similar effects as DOC... as far as intensity, and generally what to expect or no?

as much info that can be provided would be amazing

What I understand is that DOI is more similar to DOB in that it is one of the more stimulating DOX compounds. DOC seems to be more intensely psychedelic. I won't even discuss DOM because it is not halogenated and somewhat irrelevant.

DOI appears to have a tendency to be cynical or dark, DOB was for me pretty neutral and analytical. Not that fun really. DOC seems to be more generally trippy and positive.

Do you have experience with any of the DOX compounds?

Solipsis, I have tried DOC, and thats it... I personally really enjoyed the intensity of it. (which is why I'm wondering if I would be able to use DOC as a point of reference for how DOI would be)

but I'd like to experiment a little more with the DOx chems, I know someone who told me DOI is not really worth the experience, but he is a questionable source - he's doesn't exactly do the smartest/most responsible thing with his substances if ya know what I mean.

vibrancy3, thanks for the welcome :D
I will definately check out those links

From what I can tell, for novelty and an interesting experience it would be fine to try DOI, but if you really want it to be as good as DOC or better then you might come out disappointed. Then again you might not be. It's up to you to decide if it is worth it tripping all day on something that might turn out to be hardly worth it.

If DOB is any indication, I was quite interested to have tried it twice but am not in a hurry at all to do it again. It would be the last on my list considering I have yet to taste all my other DOX compounds. DOI sounds only marginally better than DOB. DOC and DOM sound like the best ones but each with their own distinct character.

yeah, its something I want to try, but i'm going out of my way to aquire it. DOX compounds all sound very interesting and I hope to be able to try most of them. The main appeal of DOI to me is the multi-day tripping, which is what I'm most interested in. I never really gave alot of thought to DOB, but your raising my curiosity lol.

I think DOI is nicer in lower doses (under 2.5mg) than DOC. Over 2.5mg I would prefer DOC (and am on 3mg right now). DOI always seems slightly more peaceful to me, until the dose goes up and the stimulation feels uncomfortable and I get some nausea. Its not as psychedelic (in the traditional sense) as DOC and to me at least feels to have less potential to head-fuck me, which doc has done in the past. ah I cannot focus for shit but hope this helps a bit mate 8o

DOI had a longer lasting peak and visuals.

DOC had maybe an 8 hour peak (after 2+ hours of come-up) and then a comedown to another 8 hour or longer afterglow stage.

Overall DOC is a more fun and interesting experience. Easier on the body as well. I thought it was more visual and there was some interesting psychological phenomena taking place.

DOI is slightly more potent by weight.

I've taken up to 7mg of DOC and had a fantastic trip, I would never want to take more than 3mg of DOI. Actually, having taken DOI, I would plainly never want to take DOI again.

DOM in my opinion is not as good as DOC, even though DOM has a more spaced out headspace and a "zoomy" effect, as well as complex visuals, I found it less insightful and less recreational (and also less visual) than DOC.

My friend Homer say's DOI had more body load than DOC. Also, DOC was more visual for Homer. Here are some bad effects: DOI for Homer caused long term (2months and counting) "internal vein tremors", which is the best way Homer can describe it. A warning also, Homer say's never mix 3.5 mg DOI with 3.5 mg DOC or even 2mg DOC. Homer say's he feels like he has Serotonin Syndrome (3 weeks and counting). The Serotonin Syndrome effects Homer is feeling are agitation, muscle twitching, and a wierd warm and sometimes slight headache feel in his brain. Homer is currently taking Vitex (Herbal supplement) to increase progesterone levels in his body, he heard these break down serotonin.
Welcome to Bluelight mate; you can knock off the nonsense, we refer to ourselves in the first person around here ;)
