If you seriously think any mod is a member of any clique you are so far from the truth I'd struggle to know where to even begin :D

And do please spend at least a little time working on those comprehension skills cos it just isn't possible to hold a meaningful conversation with someone who consistently fails to acknowledge any point beyond their own opener which has already been repeatedly addressed.

So, moving on from here, other than the fact that it sometimes takes NMI staff and posters a while to respond to new threads, what's with the calling out EADDers as paedos?

Word, it was the same for me me thinks. I was the numero-one thread killer, and the cliqueyness was punishing. But I held strong, retained my dignity in the face of adversity and am still here after all these years.
It's like any activity, some things are easy, but something's require effort and time that some people don't want to commit, and leave. Others are determined and go pro. Either way, people need to chill out and bring their own fun to the party instead of being party-poopers.

@the noobs: Everyone would love you more if you brought some beers to a party, instead of coming in empty handed. consider that when posting on the forums, provide some good content and ignore the fucks in the corner that want to make you feel bad, and sooner or later you'll be hitting it up with the most fun folks that appreciate your efforts to have a good time.

If you don't want to deal with other people's bullshit, you can always just post what's on your mind in the Talk To Yourself thread. Just talk to yourself. Listen to your own tunes, post your own pictures, and if someone likes what you do, they'll interact with you.

You're determined, that's admirable.
You can't get along with everyone.
I like dance music and everything in-between. Other people hate dance music and only listen to their hip-hop or w/e, do I interact with them on the topic of music? Rarely, but when I do, I only know they listen to Hip Hop and nothing else, and know I won't go far with them, so I stick to the other people who are more accommodating.

Some people are opinionated, and can be judgemental. If you want to put others in their place to defend yourself, that's great. But don't stoop to their level and generalize everyone as being the same as that one person.

It would suck if everyone had the same personality, forums would be boring as fuck. Im glad there's bickering and disagreements. It really puts everything into perspective, and encourages baxk-and-forth like what's happening here.

I wouldn't say "twisting things around" as such, I'd say it was a direct question that has been asked twice now with no answer. I'm sorry if you felt that you didn't get a reply fast enough in your introduction post but you did get replies. More so than many users. Is that a good thing that others don't get as many replies? No. Short answer. Did you get replies? Yes. Short answer. No one is here to start an argument but it seems there is some beef that has come out of no where. The point now if we shall move forward is, 1. Just answer the direct question and 2. How can we smooth this over and move on?

What the fuck does my lack of knowledge of your existence prior to posting here have to do with you coming into the forum I love do moderate and calling one of our most respected members a paedo?

Let me play the devil's advocate here. But before I do, let me just say that you cannot know a person solely off a single interaction, but psychology researchers say that most people make up their minds about a person on the first few seconds of an interaction.

So let's say that you walk into an interview, and you greet the people by saying "how's it going fuckfaces?" I predict that isn't a good start, and they will judge you harshly for the rest of the interview, or might not even consider you for the job anymore.

I looked at your intro thread and see where people may be trying to judge you from

I see the 'lol' and you meant to be light-hearted, but being a new member you were quick to knock the forum as not worthy because you said you shouldn't have bothered due to a crap (un)welcome.
I admit there should have been a greeter to welcome you to the forums, who knows why that didn't happen. we are all volunteers on the forum, and our attention may be focused elsewhere. And the mods who oversee the NMI might have been busy when you posted your thread... Idk, but w/e you're here now, I suggest posting in the more active forums and quoting some posts if you want better interactions :).

Just to make it crystal clear, we actually go out of our way to welcome new posters here in EADDland. Exceptions may be made for bolshy fukkers who arrive with vasty chips on their shoulders slinging pretty frikkin serious insults at established members who they know are not here to defend themselves. What other reaction could you reasonably expect?

Actually, Now I'm curious, Lets go back to that original question. Why would you think that SHM is a pedo? The man may have strong opinions ( I really respect him for that ) but there is no indication that in any way shape or form that he is in any way a pedo. Where did that statement come from? Also, if you're a new member how do you know SHM well enough to comment so harshly about him? I am now very curious.
