quick question: If this is on a tuesday that juxtapoze gets usually, why is this show $15 when the Vexed show is only $10?

vexed is probably in a larger venue? after flyers, other print promo, hotels, and equipment rentals, this show's break even is roughly max capacity.

mad frog has about 3x the capacity

plus it'll cost you more than $5 to round trip to cinci ;)

it's a fair price if you go for presales, which we're doing up until 5pm day of show....so no reason not to get one :)

This is kind of where I was getting at. Last Tuesday, it seemed that there were issues with the sound system at the Mel and was hoping some supplemental sound would be brought in for such a high talent act.

I know quite a few people were already planning to attend the Cincy party before this show was even in stone. Given it's on a weekend, has better sound, and as mentioned it's a bigger venue with the option to check out the basement as well, $10/door in Cincy seemed strange when it's $15/door here for lesser sound, smaller venue, and a weekday show.

Not trying to be snarky, but my g/f works early during the week and will likely miss tuesday night. I don't really want to pay twice to see the same act, so I have to weigh my options.

I'll be paying twice to see it for sure. simply because I get to support Juxt on tuesday and actually party like a mofo on saturday with the out of town dong style debauchery. I'll have 2 seats in the subie for saturday kiddos :D
