seriously, we had shit planned a month in advance and we're some of the biggest fuckin stoners you've ever met. Why can't the 6-8 people involved lately come up with a lineup? It's fuckin ridiculous. I had a long chat with Jorge earlier today and I hope you guys pull this shit off. I expressed interest in playing there a month ago and have yet to hear anything back. I even offered to bring out some old wax so no special arrangements had to be made for properly functioning equipment since that seems to be a stretch anymore.
 
According to SpaceHate's Myspace they are playing tonight at the Mel... I believe at 11:30. as far as the rest of the night, i have no idea, apologies.

It would be nice to be informed personally by those involved with the change-over of affiliations what the hell is going on.

you have sat here and pointed fingers at various promoters for ruining or exploiting the "scene" over the past few years on this board, but you have never done anything about it ... minus a few bonfire parties at your orchard.

it's not surprising you can only equate anything said here in singular terms because you're so self absorbed it's ridiculous. you, in quintessential "geekster" fashion, call me out on finger pointing which you're not guilty of by any means...:\... and not only do you not "give much a shit" about me, you categorize the people you try to "motivate" with your rhetoric as "a dime a dozen". perhaps if you had something positive to say about the majority of locals you rely on (and have relied on in the past) to make your nights benefit indy edm/dj culture maybe, just maybe, you would get the credit and recognition you so desperately crave. you overcompensate for your lack thereof with reasonable promotional skills but take two steps back everytime that mouth of yours opens and starts gloating about yourself. i'm sure it's not only ironic that's got your ass kicked more than once at the melody (with room to grow on)...with an attitude like yours it's to be expected at some point or another. that's a +1 in gary's category: didn't get ass kicked at his own night.

instead of saying "good luck...hope u guys can pull it off. tues nites need a shot in the arm" you instead rely on shitty remarks that serve no purpose other than humoring yourself. grow up.

well i've been living in indy for about 3 years now, and i've not yet seen a crew give a event the consistent promotional push it needs. well except for side-track they do a good job. pretty much most events i've seen or been to in indy have been promoted half ass. it's like everyone's afraid to go out-of-state to pass out flyers. I mean dayton and cincy are so close, you can't pass that up. good thing indy has a good word-of-mouth response for sure. This tuesday has soooo much potential. I hope everyone can pull together to make it happen. hey if all else fails. i can get jimmy journey involved;)

I don't know that dude, but he was waaaaaay too wasted to be anywhere near a mic, and i don't give a fuck what medium a dj is using to perform as long as he/she is doing it proper.

NEVER DISRESPECT YOUR DJ, ESPECIALLY AS AN "MC." :!

your function is to keep the crowd hyped and involved in the music, not to slander the night and the dj's who keep it real
