the cost of doing a better locals night would be minimal. would take more legwork than anything.

basically...is anyone going to get paid for bringing out their equipment? is there going to be anything different other than the name?? because as far as i can tell the night sucks with gary "promoting" it. nothing's on time, the equipment is jank and unfortunately some people won't even come out because it's a fucking joke with gary running it. so changing the name is going to do exactly what? you can't polish a turd, everybody. nothing's ever been done right with gary hosting the night. how can you even promote a night when you aren't even there to get it up and running at *ahem* 9pm? i'm sorry but enough's enough...quit pretending like the night's worth a damn, plz. reading this: Headed by event promoter Gary B. (founder of Konkrete Jungle Indianapolis)*makes me laugh with a sadly cynical jeer. the night has been ran by the dj's, not gary, for several months now. wtf has gary done for any of them other than book a few for his parties @ therapy??? not a damn thing...the night is about electronic music, the dj's and the dancefloor, not about a promoter that isn't even there to promote it.

I have to agree with George on this one.

Gary hasn't had much of anything to do with Tuesday nights for the better part of the year he's been 'running' it.

There is a core of people who have kept this night running over the past year. We all know who they are and that they've all been putting in far more work to keep the night happening.

In my honest opinion... I would like to see this small group of people come together and make Tuesdays happen properly.

A small group of people making sure everything gets handled properly is probably the best way to handle a night like Tuesday nights anyway.

Even when Geek was running the night, he was still getting help from his I.Q. crew.



So basically. I feel it's time for a change. When it comes down to it, the heads have been booking promoting and providing equipment for this night for a while now.

So might as well make it official.
 
sorry... I can't continue to support promoters that really don't give a damn in the first place.

This scene is lagging. It's time to branch out and take things forward.

Get with it... or get left by it

shit, i've ran more 'nights' over the last year there...and i've shown up like fucking twice.

jorge has a point, and we all know it...now it is just time to actually do something about it
 
Anyone with an equipment setup (vinyl+cds) could convince Gary easily to hand over the night to someone with more drive.

calm down. it's getting worked on. it's a process.

There's no flyer 'cause once everything is handled it's gonna be on the proper tip with full flyers.

We just gotta get everything worked out.


Good to see that the real heads are aware of what's up and support it being taken to then next level and organized properly.
