I rember that day, a daytime event, the sun was shining....weather was sweet. People playing frisby, walkin by, talkin..... people who hadn't heard the music much.... some who had. The track "Don't call me Baby" was Ashley's ..... but he'd let me drop his wax. Cool like that. and he had a crate full ... We went all day... Coolbreeze came out, Vinyl Pimp was rockin it, More DJs poppin out of Teeter....sure...you can play...we got all day. Residents of Teeter opening their windows, (Weeks prior Ashley and I would play the music out the window of the 5th floor or so.) Day became night .... people kept arriving, and kept dancing. DJ MD came out and threw down, it was all beyond sense. It even started raining.... We covered all the gear with a plastic tarp and kept playin..... Peeps kept dancin. So Vinyl Pimp's throwin down "Trisco " Jeff and I are holding clear plastic over the gear and the dj, lightning is flashin, much hootin' and hollarin'.. I think we played on a numark mixer and some Gemini XL 500's. A couple lights from spencers .... A stereo reciever .... Misc. speakers.... Plenty of Duct Tape...doozens of extention cords...that ran from a dorm room and out the window....down a couple floors........................................................................................................................... Plenty of Spirit.................It's all we had......it's all we needed.

As a matter of fact..... Here's the flyer from it. Jeff (blinkerbeaker) designed it, a friend at KINKOS printed 2000 of them.

Just a reminder, don't forget, this is just one of many NAPTOWN Underground Friday Nights @ Fusion, so it's more than just showing your support and havin a good one, it's solidifying a wholsome foundation for future party goers. Those of you who haven't been to Fusion, your invited to not only check out the entertainment and good vibes, but also the aesthetically (did I spell that right?) pleasant club atmosphere, featuring many flavors of decor, great staff, and good drinks (Yes I actualy tasted some). If you don't drink, it's all good, the bar staff is more than happy to serve juices and water (I did pineapple juice last Fri.) The Courtyard features soothing fountians, fresh air, plant life, seating, and from time to time becomes a third stage. A sweet heaven located just yards off of 465 @ the Market Street exit (East Downtown Nap) @ 603 E. Market St. which makes it brief jaunt from just about anywhere. Plenty of parking, plenty of spirit, there's not many reasons not to come now that I think of it.

like i said, i am the bad vibe at parties....

no bc i am so fucking cool that i got sick of walking and am now using technology to compensate for it like a SMART person would.

my only problem with that is this: i never knew we were popular? i mean i dont see a "geek and colin" fanclub forming.
