no need to apologize, just wanna keep the vibe positive ya know. Never thought Indy would see the likes of Surgeon once the scene went south. But good things come to those who wait ;)

Can't wait...don't need to tell me it's special.

a sunday event, while attendance might be a hair lower, will be cool because youll get to see who da real tru dats r!
ill see you there on like zero hours of sleep!

I happenned to be at the Bourbon St. Distillery this past Sunday. I made sure to warn all the cute bartenders to bring their earplugs and have plenty of Newcastle Nut Brown Ale and Jagermesiter on hand...b/c the heads were gonna be out to drink all of it.

"Be warned," I told them. :D

i have to say, the bartenders at Bourbon are awfully nice people. especially Shawn downstairs. it seems friendly bar service is hard to come by these days, but Bourbon St. is one of the exceptions.

definently getting excited for this event. went to chicago last weekend for a loft party with a bunch of techno heads and they about shit their pants that surgeon is $5! smaller venue, but sometimes the more intimate the environment, the better the vibe. this is sure to be a fun night!!

yea chi is $12 presale, $15 at the door.
some folks wish that Surgeon was at a larger space, but i'd rather have a small space packed comfortably full than a large space thats 2/3's vacant.

pool tables and lounge chairs don't make me think "techno"
but a packed non-descript room where everyone is getting down does.

Hey! Adam, How are ya? I haven't talk to you in forever, how ya been? I just found about your event since I never check the boards anymore, I would really like to be there but unfortantly I will be in Colorado! Anyway, hope everything goes well for ya! Take Care

Cheers,

Rob B

It's important to note that the more people there are dancing, the more the decks may skip (This has been a problem at the Distillery in events passed)...is there anything being done about this problem come the 13th?

yes this is a big problem, especially for the twats that like to stomp their feet on the ground repetedly. i was looking through a magazine the other day and they had some inflatable dj tiesto air cushions. put the tables on top of some of those, or hang em from the ceiling! i cant remember a time at the D that the decks didnt keep skipping.
