im starting a strand collection

every new batch i get now, im taking .5 and tossing it into a pill bottle.

so far i have:

white widow
purple haze
sour diesel
blue dream
flo


its a huge pill bottle. im about halfway done

its all being broken up and mixed together


now when im done, one single hit will murder you.

should i make the best batch of brownies on earth or just do bong rips for a month?
 
My brother calls it gangster gumbo lol. My co-worker calls it 31 Flavors (there are far more in there now).

[nitpick]By the way, it's strains, not strands. Sorry, that's a pet peeve of mine.[/nitpick]
 
just started doin the same thing! I got purple power,swiss cheese,sour d, and SLH.....def going to bong it some day
 
How would this make stuff that will "murder" you with one hit? It's going to be less strong than the best strain used to make it.

If I were you I would NOT BREAK THEM UP. Not only will your collection be much more appreciable if you can look admire the beauty of each bud, but they will preserve much better if left whole.

An additional bonus is that you can select smoking samples from specific buds, and experiment with different combinations to compare the resulting highs.

BTW, you are very lucky to have White Widow, Purple Haze, and Sour Diesel at the same time. These are among my top 10 strains, and I have a hard time finding any one of them, let alone all three at a time (and my city gets it's buds from California)!
 
strain, not strand.

a strand is like, a strand of hair or nylon. another word for string type thing.
strain is variety, ie strain of cannabis, strain of carrots, roses etc.
 
+1 for pet peeves on the word "strand" when the word is really "strain".

Sound like a nice mix. We call them salads downunder :)
 
Ha, is strand for strain a common thing? Never heard that.

I always try to save a little nug from each batch. Makes for excellent smoking when there's a drought.%)

Ive heard it that many times, and corrected the person(s) saying it that many times, you'd think there retarted :\
 
imo opinion, each should be savoured for there own tastes, smells, and effects. I have done this before, and i find it gutting when one toke is that lovely really strong tasting type, then next drag is completely different.. like when i clean out my rolling box and smoke that :)

geez i had JUST ripped purple haze and strawberry kush in a bong...

but yeah you're right about keeping the buds whole...only reason i suggested grinding is because all my purple haze is shake right now. oh well ima keep buds that sounds delectable.

i like the idea of creating unique combinations...

i just need some blueberry! i haven't found any in 5 years!

yeah, i heard that. but thats why in the meantime i'm mostly smoking one at a time. smoking a mixture is like dr pepper, you don't KNOW what the hell you're tasting.

it IS sorta depressing to have so many good tasting buds and to get a weird taste from it ya know?

BUT, this is just my MINDFUCK mix. ya kno? that shit you pull out on special occasions.

i've been pouring kief in the bottle too. thats a good idea, right?

hah. yeah. the sour d i saved from two months ago. this week my buddy had both the white widow and the purple haze at the same time. i said I WANT BOTH. hah.

i'm waiting for the kush to leave so i can see whats next! :D
 
Congrats on starting a new collection.
I love collecting bud.

I find it is important to:
A) label each on. Put each perfectly dried bud in a corner of a sandwich bag and tie it up then apply a label.
B) never "dip" into the collection until the set date you plan on consuming it all
C) only collect the best.
D) when consuming the collection, smoke part of each one its own, and part of each collectively
