Actually....let me just put it this way.......As far as the "club" scene is concerned....this city is an absolute JOKE! These people hate these people.....these people can't stand these people.....let's all go back to high school okay! If everyone has so much...."passion" for this industry, then you come together and make something out of this city. Put your heart and souls together and make a difference. I'm so sick and tired of everyone going on about..."Oh....this music means so much to me......." "My passion in life is music..." "I put my heart and soul into every ounce of my passion for the music industry..." BULLSHIT!!!!!! These people can't play at these events because well..."I don't like you...." "You run your mouth..." GROW THE FUCK UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you have so much damn passion for the music then come together, put aside your differences and make something of this city! I'm sorry...20 or 30 people in a night club on Friday and Saturday night isn't a "crowd". Unless you kiss ass as a local...you're not going anywhere. Why should it have to be like that?? IT DOESN'T! It's just that everybody thinks that they're too damn good to take the time and become an openminded individual! Until these people can pull their heads out of their asses....this city might as well go to shits! Until then....everyone can continue to eat their rolls and rub eachother....until then....everybody can kiss ass to get a good time slot....until then.....locals can bite their tongue to get there name out there.....until then.....this city can be nothing but High School Drama! So until then.....adios!

well in my opinion its going to take a lot. unity throwing away old shit. not starting new shit. meetings which include all key figures, people supporting things because of the purpose not whether they individually benefit from it. rid the enviroment from heresay and talking shit about people. there are civil ways of bringing up concerns talking about someone and then them hearing through the grapevine along with rumor spreading is petty and childish.... from a promoter aspect say hypothetically speaking of course dj "crazyass" talks shit about all the local promoters or those promoters hear that they are and if there is an issue the dj fails to express his or her concern.......of course the promoter will be less likely to care whether or not that dj gets booked... there are people in th scene who have only their own agenda and don't care about unity thus fighting the current.... there were scene meetings in the past which were good ideas its unfortunate that they no longer exist and the scene is slowly becoming what it was before segmented into groups. of course nobody can expect everyone to agree to everything its nearly impossible because there would be to many aspects to ensure everyone is happy.. I suppose mutual support is key... personally I attempt to attend every single event locally and even regionally as possible along with paying FULL cover regardless of music genre. I guess its little things like that. that helps as a whole.. just my opinion hope everyone is having a nice day and enjoy your weekend.

How many collaborations have u seen in the 'Ville in the past year & a half??? And there should be NO DISPUTE that PT Enterprises was a HUGE open-minded entity that WANTS to have a unified Louisville......but toes get stepped on in the process & good-hearted folks get taken for granted. I'm dedicating my time in lyrics to educate the local/regional supporters on what's REALLY goin' on.

for the most part PT and Nphrase colabs have ent went and I look forward to more in the future.... I agree things get put out of perspective when a lot of stress and drama floods the enviroment.. NPhrase has definitely made every attempt to maintain civil standings with all key figures.. well atleast I would hope so... lol

agreed I enjoyed freakfest as well except for needing gps locators for my friends ;)

i just want to play out...and i refuse to suck anybodys asshole to do it...any comments on that one...i would love to hear them...i have been out to support as many possible events as i can...i have never trashed talked anybody and i have always tried to get along with everyone...anyone looking for a dj to play any events in the area please contact me...i play for gas money...lol...
 
comments? na its the way it should be , its just unfortunate that anyone would ever have to kiss ass to play..... not quite sure why everyone can't be on civil terms..... which definitely plays a role.

no thats not how i took it...im just saying that i want to play...you as well as a lot of others around here know my talent and i just wonder why i always get looked passed...as far as coming out and supporting, i know we have talked about this before, i work a full time job as a supervisor and my time to just GO to a party and spend money that i dont have to get in just in hopes that ill get booked for the next one is gone...i have paid my dues 3 times over...i may sound like a baby but i know there are djs playing out that really have no business doing so...kinda makes me ill to go to an event and hear train wrecks...oh well im done crying....boooohoooo boooohoooo
 
Sounds like everyone had an amazing awesome experience. The kind of experience I personally have only had in Arkansas at Hog Ridge Hollow.

I would have made the journey out to this only I am completely broke. I wish i could have made it.
